Also, here's a micro I built a few days ago - it's not for BoBS (at least not yet! - I might make it the nemesis of my captain sometime though! ), but since it's pirate I thought I'd share it here:

Inspired by Blackdeathgr's MRCA result which had one of these hulls (probably the smallest ship possible with a prefab hull! ) with a black sail on it - and my experience building a larger ship really helped out with this one a lot!

I also carry sad news. This is the last build i'll be posting for quite some time. I've decided, and found that my other hobbies are requiring more attention, and though School is slowing down, especially with my last day on the 25th, i still have other stuff in real life. I will definitely be returning when Guilds of Historica's Book III launches, but until then, i'll be relatively silent, other than giving CC. Let us all go in good fortune!

As i also commented on your MOC Windusky, i wish you have a great relaxing period so that you fill your batteries and broaden your imagination. After all, it's summer, i.e. more time under the sun and by the sea/river/lake/pool (or whatever you guys have there). We cant guarantee though that by your returning, Eslandola wont have become a Mardier protectorate

Thanks that i was able to inspire someone since i feel i always take/be inspired from you guys, regarding your awesome building skills! And so you know, i am totally stealing (stealing someone else's plans that were initially inspired by the thief's plans... ) this ship design! She is going to be a jewel on my very limited LEGO space on the bookcase. Asking for your permission ofc

Ha, ha, go right ahead! I am actually keeping mine built (at least for right now) too, and for pretty much the same reason (and that it doesn't use hardly any pieces)!

Thanks Captain Dee! Due to the requests, I'll go ahead and make a topic for it pretty soon(ish), as I have a few more pictures I was planning on uploading anyways! And about the lantern - my younger brother (who likes his ships looking like this, which he built not too long ago) got on me for not having a lantern, Jolly Roger, or aftcastle on my larger ship, so I went ahead and included most of those here! So yes, Sir Stig is right that it is (partly) inspired by the Queen Anne's Revenge

Thanks Captain B! It was just a largish sheet of light blue paper we (Kai, I believe) got for the purpose at Walmart (or rather, the branch of Walmart they have down here )

Do you "touch it up" in photoshop afterwards then - the gradient is so smooth I always assumed it was photoshop.
