TitusV Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Yes, it looks like we may need a settlement index eventually. I volunteer to do that... Quote
Bregir Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I volunteer to do that... I was very close to offering a bounty for this yesterday when I had trouble finding the Arlinsport post! But volunteers are always better than mercenaries! ;) Great initiative, Titus Quote

Maxim I Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) Wow, Finally the Ship Index is completely updated again!!! All new ships are included All ships are checked if they are licenced or not (can be found in the Faction Ship Index). MRCA results of March are included! => Have fun! Now, I am wondering if it is ok for you if I just keep the Ship index like this: - Ship name (builder) + image The info can be found in the Faction Ship Index :) Ok or not? Bregir Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Great work, Maxim! I would like to put your forward for a paid position (5 db's each month, like other official positions?). I don't know what the title should be, though. I think current owner is necessary information too. And the War Dwarf has been renamed HMS Kite, and is owned by the crown of Corrington. Quote
Elostirion Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) I definitely support the idea of paying Maxim for his efforts! Such a wonderful job on the index, which is an amazing help so often! Edited April 3, 2016 by Elostirion Quote
gedren_y Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Maxim, you'll have at least one other tomorrow: the soon to be posted Dark Lightning (2 n's - you should probably fix the listing). Quote
Maxim I Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 La Salamandra - 4A Schooner, kabel Thanks! It will be included with the next big update (probably around the end of the week already!) Quote
Bregir Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Some input for the next update: The Athena (4A), Captain Cooke, owner: Montoya (Bregir), not licensed http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=129265 Further, the Heart of Eslandia is renamed Bellson and sails in my name. Captain: Matthew Smith Quote
Sir Stig Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Winged Wisdom I guess this is too small to be a class 3, but I tried to make a Caravel type ship. 2F? Not licenced yet. Quote
Maxim I Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 It seemed impossible, but it happened... The Ship Index has been updated!!! Enjoy it quickly, because it could be that some ships will not survive the current MCRA! Quote
Garmadon Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Very nice job, Maxim! I just wanted to mention that the Henri is also a Class 5+ ship (you'll notice it's about twice as long as all the other Class 5 ships - excluding KB's, of course! ), and it is owned by Garmadon (me!) and not by the ETWC Quote
Maxim I Posted May 3, 2016 Author Posted May 3, 2016 Very nice job, Maxim! But there are more class 5+ ships in the class 5 at this moment. I am waiting the new classification list of Ska before putting the ships in the right class. But, you are the ETWC? Me confused... Quote
Garmadon Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Aha, alright! No, the ETWC is the trade company I am the leader of, but Captain B and a couple of less (non) active members are also part of it I, on the other hand, consist of just me! Quote

No, the ETWC is the trade company I am the leader of, but Captain B and a couple of less (non) active members are also part of it I, on the other hand, consist of just me! I always forget there are other members as well But, you are the leader of ETWC and you refuse to let your ships sail the ETWC flags? That's mean... Quote
SilentWolf Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) Not to be a pest, but my 5F is named Golden Filly (as in the horse). I guess the best acronyms are WETEC for my trade group. Thank you for getting all these ships cataloged and updated! We do appreciate it. Edited May 3, 2016 by SilentWolf Quote
Garmadon Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I was talking about the ownership, not the flags it sails (if it had any, they would be ETWC flags) - the only reason it didn't have any was because they would have been a bit complicated to attach, and because the tiny little things LEGO makes looked way to puny on it, haha! gedren_y Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 In the Faction listings, the Dark Lightning is missing an 'n' from its name. Quote
Phadeout Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I have "sistershipped" the Fénix and the new version is called Fénix Rising, it has hopefully escaped the hands of Mardier Privateers this time! By the way the Capt isn't names so you can continue to use Alejandro de la Calle if you need to have that detail in. Quote
kaiju Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Just noticed a small error: The captain of the Wight Spider is Gascoigne, not Grayther Drave. Quote
gedren_y Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Eslandola has a new 5HA warship, the Golden Grasshopper. Quote
gedren_y Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Here's another one to add to my private vessels list, the Consort's Duty. All of my ships are licensed, by the way. Quote
Mesabi Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 What class does a Galleon Fall under? I've been refitting an old MOC I did for BoBS and I'm not sure where a Galleon falls on the scale. Does 3A sound accurate? Or 3T1? Quote
Maxim I Posted March 4, 2017 Author Posted March 4, 2017 Hi Mesabi, welcome to BoBs! Galleons can fall under a T or an A. (if you need a name, you can call her Atorana hahaha :D ) It is not really the T/A/F/WR that matters. Historically seen, one can adapt a vessel easily to make more space for cargo or for guns. The more important question is what size it is. This index should give you a nice idea of what the sizes of vessels are for each category. Historically seen, one can not easily adapt a vessel making it longer or taller or putting an extra mast on it. In other words: the T/A/F/WR is not something someone will make a remark about, but licencing it as a class 5 while it has only the size of a class 3, will be questioned. I hope I have helped you with this! Quote
