The winners -- including faction leaders -- were Ayrlego in Category 2A and Kolonialbeamter in Category 2B. In Category 2A, Ayrlego showed the beginning of his defenses against rival nations in his North Head Battery entry. In Category 2B, Kolonialbeamter told the story of a battle that happened somewhere in New Terra while the Age of Discovery was young in The Diary of Derelin Magini entry.
