Captain Braunsfeld Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) [Voiceover] August 616. Having run into a trap set up by the evil pirate Gisberth the "Black Moustache" has to surrender: Gisberth: Now, what have we got here ... the infamous Black Moustache. Let us see who is the man behind that false beard! Gisberth: As I would have guessed - Colonel Brickinson of Eslandola. Gisberth: So we found out what you did. And you will surely tell us why you did it. In the meantime, until we hear your tale, we have a nice place where you can stay. And you can leave your hat on. And so Colonel Brickinson was imprisoned by Gisberth and his men with no hope to escape. The story of the Black Moustache seems to have come to a sudden ending... Gisberth: Muwahahaha! His evil crew: Muwahahaha! [second Speaker] Brickinson has been captured by the evil pirate Gisberth! [First Speaker] We must take action at once. Get in touch with our new friends. [second Speaker] I will. [First Speaker] And it may be time for you to set out on a journey. No time to lose. Here is the Simian-Plan storyline: 1 MRCA Result April & May: Sunk and Taken by Pirates 2 Has Brickinson gone mad? 3 The End of a Pirate 4 Visiting a Pirate Island 5 A Dream Within A Dream 6 Pirate Hunter King Archibald 7 Woe is me! 8 The Black Moustache and his Green Flying Dutchman 9 ... but I have signed the contract .... 10 Now, what have we got here ... C&C welcome! Edited January 1, 2019 by Captain Braunsfeld (pictures now on Bricksafe instead of flickr) Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Quite the predicament you've gotten yourself into here! Wonderful job! I'm loving this story! Roaring rampage of revenge rams into a brick wall! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
dr_spock Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Nice serial you have going. BTW, is there anything under the hat? Quote
Kai NRG Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Do I smell a monkey? Nice jail. I like the vegetation in the rockwork. Quote
Garmadon Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Ha, ha! For some reason, even though I knew the Black Moustache had the same face as Colonel Brickinson, I most certainly did not see that coming! Nice looking prison (well, comparatively, for what it is! ), and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you have got up your sleeve! Quote

Nice serial you have going. BTW, is there anything under the hat? Under the hat? Hmm. Hair, I guess... No, that is not where the story is going Do I smell a monkey? Nice jail. I like the vegetation in the rockwork. Monkey? Who's mentioned a monkey? The jail is my pirate version of the current set. Ha, ha! For some reason, even though I knew the Black Moustache had the same face as Colonel Brickinson, I most certainly did not see that coming! Nice looking prison (well, comparatively, for what it is! ), and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you have got up your sleeve! I enjoyed preparing that aspect of the story. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Very Nice build, that poor colonel... I love those cliffhangers! Quote
SilentWolf Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I really like these classic looking builds you keep presenting. They are improved on the originals, but definitely give a hint back to the classic pirates I got started on. Also this story keeps getting better and funnier with each installment. Quote

Captain Dee Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Uh-oh... Our hero has been captured?!?! Argh!! Something tells me he isn't too concerned with his "predicament." The build reminds me of some of the classic sets - kind of like combining Sabre Island with Lagoon Lock-up or Broadside's Brig or something. It looks like a fun play piece. Keep up the story... Quote
