Aethersprite Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Some licensed themes I want to see: Narnia: Imagine all the minifigs and set possibilities, could be released along with next year's Narnia film. Seconded. A Narnia theme would be spectacular. I'd get the entire line for sure. One mistake there: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader hits cinemas this year, in less than a month's time in fact. A Dawn Treader set would be spectacular. Quote
The_Customizer Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I'd go for a Lord Of The Rings or a X-Man (the adult movies) themes. I was thinking LOTR would be a good idea, but X-Men would be cool too! LoTR, I am still surprised that TLG has not tried to capitalize on this market. It is one of the most popular series of all time. I can just imagine a Lego Orthanc Sirius I know, it is one of the best movies, and Lego would make a TON. Because almost anything needed for a Lego LotR line is available in the Castle/ Kingdoms line. Besides, it is rather old now. I don't think it will happen. Lord Embo What about elves? They never made elves (except in the Collectible Minifigures series 3.) That may be so, but not many kids know much about LotR, nor do many really care about it. If it were to be released in Lego, it wouldn't last ong and I'd only get the sets for parts, just like with PoP. Lord Embo But some of it could be really cool! I am sure Lego would be creative with it. I hace one word: LOTR Same here! Okay, so over all, I think Lord of the Rings would be one of the BEST THEMES EVER. I mean, who doesn't want a little Lego Gollum? Quote
commanderneyo Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I know I said Call Of Duty before but since I did I have been trying to think of good sets and I will list what game the set is based on (Please make this Licence Lego) Before I start I also see this as a theme that could have battle packs as there are small enough vehicles for battle packs in Call Of Duty. Wave one German soldiers Battle Pack Price $10.99 Call of Duty 1 Comes with Three German soldiers (2 with Rifles and 1 with sub-Machine gun) and a officer with a Pistol. Vehicle included is a motorcycle. Russian Soldiers Battle pack Price $10.99 Call of Duty 1 Comes with 3 Russian Soldiers (2 with Rifles and 1 with Machine gun) and a Commisiar with Two pistols. Vehicle is A russian armored car. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BA-20 M4 Sherman Tank http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/M4_Sherman Price: $29.99 Call of Duty 3 Comes with Sergeant Frank McCullin Private Nichols and Leroy Huxley. http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Leroy_Huxley http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Frank_McCullin http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Nichols. I'll leave it at three ideas for now Quote
Skrytsson Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 (edited) I dream about a line with the Tv-show Lost in lego. While waiting for TLG and ABC to make a deal, I have created my own version Edited November 10, 2010 by Skrytsson Quote

bricked one Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 GUNDAM!!!!!!!!!!! TRON!!! AVATAR! um Iron Man Transformers Terminator Matrix anything with mechs. Quote
funkybrick Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I don't know when the film came out, but it doesn't matter anyway... it definitely stays a dream license There is: Death Race 2 But a theme only with cars isn't really appealing to me. On the other hand, minifig versions of Jason Statham and Sean Bean would be fantastic. Not only with cars! For example, a set like "Jenson Ames car workshop" with all the figs from his team (except the chick), his car and some parts to upgrade or mod the latter. And, of course, some workshop backdrop. (30$) Or something like "race to freedom" which would come with a bridge (and many proper police cars). Of course there would be many cars, it'd be a racers theme! But not only cars. Cheers, funkybrick Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) I dream about a line with the Tv-show Lost in lego. While waiting for TLG and ABC to make a deal, I have created my own version It's not likely to happen as the TV show is no longer running as it finished, but it would be a unique theme IMO. However, I have my own idea: Re-release the Indy theme! I don't think enough came out of this theme considering all the possibilities that are available, and it would make sense as next year is Indy's 30th anniversary! Here are a few set ideas for it if it ever happens(which it probably won't, but we can dream): Temple of the Grail with the entry room, the room with the chainsaws, the room with the letter tiles, the room with the invisible bridge(transparent bricks) and the room of the grail with the Holy Grail itself. Minifigs: Indy, Brody, Sallah, Donovan, Elsa, Henry, Grail Knight and a German Soldier. Price: £79.99 German Castle with the room where Indy finds his dad, the entry room, the car, the room they set on fire with rotating fireplace to reveal hidden room and the room with the hidden staircase. Minifigs: Indy, Henry, Elsa, Donovan, the Butler, 1 German Officer, 1 German Soldier and 1 Radio Operator. Price: £59.99 I have more ideas, so I will talk about them tomorrow! Ghosty Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I'd like to see, maybe, a WallE theme. Club Penguin might go well with the kids. Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 (edited) Yesterday I was thinking, Lego love doing Police then why not do a Lego CSI line , with Miami and New York as sub themes. But I'm not sure on how it would go down with parents though. Edited November 14, 2010 by The Red Brick Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I would really like an Iron Man/Iron Man 2 Mega Bloks own Iron Man's license at the moment, so this won't happen until they lose the license, probably when the Avengers film reaches cinemas. Lord Embo Quote
Lord Embo Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Sorry about the double post but nobody else has posted here since I last did and I have an idea for a new licensed theme. I don't know whether it has already been suggested or not, but I'd really like a James Bond theme. 26 movies for them to work with, lots of iconic characters and scenes that could easily be converted into epic Lego sets, I can see this happening very soon in the near future. Lord Embo Quote
Omicron Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 26 movies for them to work with, There are only 22 official James Bond movies, with the 23rd on current hiatus. Other JB movies are not EON productions and are not part of the official line of movies. -Omi Quote

Ceroknight Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Doctor Who!! Not only is it one of the best shows in the world but also this would be a chance to get historic figures as well!! Van Gogh! Shakespeare! Churchill! Queen Elizabeth! The list goes on and on! Not to mention the vast amount of new alien species that will go well with starwars and space! Imagine a set for the Pandorica! Easily obtain most of the aliens Another theme Assassins creed. Lovely but wont happen for quite a few reasons wrist weapons are kinda hard.. lego is for kids... the only other video game line I recall is forced unleashed and that didn't go too well... Quote

David Thomsen Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Herge's adventures of Tintin (movie coming soon, many books to draw inspiration from, good strong characters) I never really liked the old Tintin cartoons, and was wary when they said they were making a new movie. It doesn't seem to be something that can translate to television and film very well. However, reading about some of the talent behind the movie (Steven Moffat "Doctor Who"! Edgar Wright "Scott Pilgrim"!) I am becoming cautiously optimistic, and have even begun to think it will make a good Lego theme. Ideas: The shark-submarine with Tintin and Snowy. The Unicorn ruins with deep sea diver and shark. The Sirius, the boat they go treasure hunting on. The Island (or a small representation of it) Marlinspike Hall. The Unicorn itself could be a Imperial Flagship-size ship with Sir Francis Haddock and Red Rackham. Quote
toatali Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Men In Black (my fav film ever!), Futurama and Nintendo Men In Black would be SUPER AWESOME!!!! and seeing as there is a 3rd one coming out soon... Futurama would also be cool with all the unlimited possiblitys Futurama has! Nintendo would be EPIC. It could be like an All-Stars theme, with sets feauturing all the best Nintendo characters! Plus they should make a huge technic (or brick built) Manatee... Just for jokes. Quote
commanderneyo Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Narnia would make a Good Theme considering the Third Film just came out. Pokemon as well (Not Mega-blocks) Lets see any others I already mentioned Call Of Duty. Ah yes James Bond. That would be a great Theme considering there are 22 films to choose from. Quote
Gregorovich Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) I don't know if this has been mentioned, but how about a "Chronicles of Narnia" theme? There's so many possibilities for sets, and we'd get great new pieces(lion, centaur, wolf,). EDIT: Commanderneyo posted while I was still typing! Edited January 10, 2011 by Gregorovich Quote
Mr.Brick Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I see something in the MIB theme, but only because a new film is coming out soon. Otherwise no-one would buy it. Don't see it happening unfortunately anyway. :( Narnia could be a cool theme too, but I'm afraid Narnia is not popular enough. The second film kind of flopped, right? I don't know, build-wise it would be cool though! The best theme I would think of is Asterix & Obelix (actually it's just called Asterix). There are amazing buildings (in the village and the roman camp) and endless possibilities for playing. It's the innocent beat-the-Roman up playing I would love it! Though, Asterix is old and not so popular anymore :( maybe if a new film comes out once. But there are endless possibilities with this theme! Quote
