If I don't find a job until then, it'll be very very hard to come^^

Why?

You´ll have a lot of time then!

Now honest: Hope you get a work soon to be able to attend our fantastic event! *fingers crossed*

I must totally agree with what has been said until now: That's an excellent time and mainly - since I'm from Germany not very far away from Günburg ( ) - a brilliant joice of location to hold the EB Event, Ras! :sweet::thumbup:

I would of course very much like to come, too, :classic: since it would be the first event (and surely only one for the next years) for me. The only problem I've got are financial problems. So if any I will only be able to visit the event for one day :cry_sad: . Because of that I PMed Holodoc to get more information. And then I'll decide whether I plan to come or not.

Btw: What is if (in a hopefully not appearing case) I can not come nevetheless but have already signed. From which date on is the registration so that if I can not visit the event I have to pay nevertheless/that you get big problems which TLG which I surely do not want?

The thing is that we said from the beginning that we will move arround those events to get as many as possible to come at different occations.

So not really just my choice. But I like that you think so Klaus-Dieter

The registration for now on is most about to see how many will come.

There will later on be a gather up to see who will come for a day, and who will stay for how many nights.

So the main-event-day will probably be on saturday, when we hope that you who want/or only can be there

for one day will come. Then we will have as much time possible together.

There have been many questions arround what will happend.

First of all, follow the links provided by Holodoc if you have no idea.

Then the main thing is to meet people with the same hobby, and talk about whatever with

persons you learned to know on the internet, and get a chance to met a few "live".

Those occations is really the greatest moments in my life that is conected with my hobby.

Every year has been a blast really.

So if you´re still thinking to come, try to come for a day at least.

It is really not so expensive for you living in Germany, or close to Germany.

It doesn´t have to cost a fortune.

For our "over-seas" friends, would love if you can get the opportunity to make it.

We had 2 persons attending last year, and it was really great to met them IRL.

So hope we can hold an American EB event one day.

But the future will tell more about that.

Hope you got some more answers.

Fell free to post, or send PM´s.

I got a few questions on msn as well.

If you add me there, make sure to send me a PM first, and what is your "mail-name".

Otherwise the chance is big that I just will erase you.

Thanks in advance!

Dates are fine :classic:

So, how does one get to Günzburg? What are the closest airports?

I usually fly into Munich - its about 60-80 minutes drive from there on the A8 Autobahn and hire a car. I returned from Gunzburg yesterday and there are roadworks on route which slow traffic a bit. It seems from looking at the map that Stuttgart might be a similar distance in the other direction. For Ryanair fans there is an airport at Friedrichschafen which seems not to be a million miles away in yet another direction - problem for me with this option is flight times whereas Aer Lingus have twice daily flights most of the time to Munich (from Dublin) including an early morning departure. Not sure about public transport links although there is a rail line going through Gunzburg. There might be smaller airports nearer , e.g. Augsburg but these are probably of no use for international visitors.

Yes, but I can't seem to find RAS answer to your suggestion :sceptic:

Sorry for my late reply (I´m quite busy the latest days...):

I didn´t get a reply either. So it´s up to you all, what YOU would prefer.

And if one of you knows another location - fine, let me know!

Unfortunatly, due to the stock market, my parents won't be going to France. Instead they will be going to Cancun.

I'll see if I can change their minds, but at the moment, it looks as if I'm off the list. :pir-sceptic:

Yes, I know, I am. :pir-cry_sad:

And having to buy Christmas presents doesn't help either. :pir-sceptic:

I might be able to go. Its a slim chance though. :cry_sad: It would depend on the price. Any info on how much it would be? Plane tickets, hotel room, etc.
