Majek Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) Hello Here is my new creation - Mob Car Used by the mob in USA in the 1930’s maybe? Just joking. It's only prototype car for future MOC. Deeplinks: 1 2 3 4 Any comments would be appreciated. Pozdrawiam ~Majek Edited July 12, 2009 by TheBrickster Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I think the car looks great, although there is something kind of jeepy about the front end or perhaps its the tires that are giving it that truck feel. My only real comment is that the Mob guy needs a black hat. I think he could get wacked for wearing a brown one. Great job overall. Look forward to seeing the MOC is goes in. Quote
BlueBard Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Great! Small but nicely detailed, and it would go perfectly with my MCWC entry Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 While this is technically a "historic" creation, I feel this will fit better in the Town forum. Quote
prateek Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 This is great! It would look good with the Shangai Chase set Quote
Majek Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 Thanks for your comments, guys. While this is technically a "historic" creation, I feel this will fit better in the Town forum. Hey, wait a second! Uh, er, um, eh... Ok. Mob guy needs a black hat. I don't have black one. ~Majek Quote
paintballman413 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 awsome, next you should make a Maffia warehouse. That would look so cool Quote
Ratshot Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 You should buy some Tommy guns off of Brick Arms It would give it more of a realistic look. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 That's a very nice car you made, very sleek and authentic looking! I do feel that the side window is a bit big though, it might look better if it were split up in two windows i think. Just my 2 cents.. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Nice job Majek. The car has that 20s/30s look that you've done a great job capturing in Lego. I like the addition of the blood. Nice! Quote
Eilif Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Ooh, I like this! I particularly like your use of SNOT for the transition from the hood to the sides of the car. The sideways use of a 1x1 handle brick, is especially nice. However I have to ask, can a minifig fit inside the car? Either way, thanks for posting it. I could definitely see myself using some of your techniques in the future. Quote
Majek Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) Thanks guys! can a minifig fit inside the car? Yes, but without fedora hat.thanks for posting it. I could definitely see myself using some of your techniques in the future. No problemo .~Majek Edited July 14, 2009 by Majek Quote
