Commander Assassin Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) Well, the title and description says it all. (My apologies if there is already a topic like this, I didn't find one with the search) My list is: Lego Halo Lego The Force Unleashed Lego Republic Commando Lego Star Wars: Battlefront Lego Call of Duty Lego Lord of the Rings What are your ideas? Forresto Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Lego Star Wars battlefront or the force unleashed would be the most interesting to me. Quote
strider406 Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 (edited) I think Lego Zombies and Lego Gears of War would be cool. Edited September 25, 2009 by strider406 Quote
???theriddler??? Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Lego Doctor who Lego batman 2 Lego gears of wars???? Wouldn't that be too adult? Maby not, they could add power miner monsters . Quote
user Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 My list is:Lego Halo Lego The Force Unleashed Lego Republic Commando Lego Star Wars: Battlefront Lego Call of Duty Lego Lord of the Rings Lets be realistic here. We all know that none of those will ever be made. I think they should make Lego video games of themes like PM, SP3, agents, and Atlantis! But lego only does games for licensed themes. Quote
SWMAN Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Lego is only ever going to make games based off of licenses that they hold. I have a feeling that all of these are simply too mature to be Lego games. Lego does not promote war or excessive violence. Personally, I think that the Lego video games are poorly done. This is just my opinion, but I think the camera angles are terrible and the controls are hard to use. Quote

Commander Assassin Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Lets be realistic here. We all know that none of those will ever be made. I didn't make this topic for games that would be logical to see, I made this to tell about what ones we would like to see. Quote
DarthSion Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 TFU:USE, i would say clone wars but rumours are that is coming, i would like to see lego mortal kombat, or lego armored core. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Remakes Lgo Loco Lego Cheess Lego Powerminers game Game where you travel in Lego time to catch robber that steals many lego artefacts (firstly Time Traverels Time machine from museum,Chrome sword from castle, Big crystal from Rock Raiders, Prison building plans in city...). Meeting "old friends" in new game would be awesome! Quote

Holy Diver Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 or lego armored core. I have only one word to say about that... Sweet! Quote
hewkii9 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 None, the series is really formulaic - apart from some minor changes, Lego Batman was Lego Star Wars in Gotham, and Lego Harry Potter will be Lego Indy at Hogwarts. If a Lego game was released that had, say, a moving camera, wholly Lego levels [a few dumpsters and the characters doesn't cut it] and more controls [PCs and Dualshocks have that many buttons for a reason], I might be interested. I also might like that game to be about the original Battlestar Galactica [as there's no way the revived series would ever be made into Lego anything]. Quote
AgentRick Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Just make a new version of Lego Loco with better graphics and a larger amount of track and building and train options then I'm good.(Also did we really need that Train Mail option in the first one?) Quote
Oky Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) No offense, CCA, but your ideas sound terrible to me. I hate the concept of first person shooters in general, and having them converted into Lego version would be completely pointless and disgracing to Lego in my opinion. I mean, do you really want a game where you run around and shoot minifigs? The only exception is the Lego SW Battlefront idea. Battlefront is a good game, and since the LSW games are already a bit similar in that they have you fighting clones or droids, it wouldn't be much of a stretch. In order not to loose the creative Lego aspect of Lego games, they could offer the minifig customization option from the existing Lego games for creating custom troops (like in Elite Squadron) and a feature where you have to build the vehicles before you can use them. That would be great. As for me, I'd really like to see a Lego Agents game. You would have to fight through Inferno's henchmen and fulfill missions. You would have to get through hi-tech traps and security systems. The bosses would be the iconic Agents villains, and the end boss would of course be Dr. Inferno. There would be vehicle levels too. And since there are not many good guys, maybe it could be like Lego Batman where there are levels where you play as the villains too. Just imagine how cool it would be to play as Saw Fist, Break Jaw, or Dyna-Mite! Also, when done right, a Lego Toy Story: The Videogame would be amazing! It would encompass all three movies and feature all the toys from the movies as minifigs. A new version of the old Lego Racer game(s) would be neat too, with all the new elements and themes. Tracks could include Agents, Power Miners, Atlantis, SP3, Fantasy Era Castle, City (with all the modular houses), New Pirates, and maybe Mars Mission. Cars and drivers would be made out of elements from those themes. And I'm really hoping that the rumors of a Lego Clone Wars game are true! That TimeCruisers game Lordofdragonss suggested sounds neat too but I think only AFOLs would be able to enjoy it. Kids would only know the most recent themes and not know what's going on in the older ones. Even worse, if they would see something they like, they would start begging their parents to buy those sets, and then people would have to start bricklinking old sets, and I don't think anyone really wants that to happen. Nightshroud99 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I'd liek a proper lego video game (not lego battles) that is about the non licensed sets like Agents , Castle etc.. Quote
Mission Commander Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Lego could do an EU collections, like the complete sage with six levels. There would be a clonw wars, TFU, and battle front. Quote
Commander Assassin Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 No offense, CCA, but your ideas sound terrible to me. I hate the concept of first person shooters in general, and having them converted into Lego version would be completely pointless and disgracing to Lego in my opinion. I mean, do you really want a game where you run around and shoot minifigs? Actually, I wouldn't mind that. But don't worry, none offense taken. I guess it is just the opinion if you like first person shooters or not. For me, those are my favorite games, and that's why I wouldn't mind CoD, BF, or Halo. Quote
RocketClone Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 What about a lego Blacktron game discripting the rise and fall of the blacktron empire! (or the rise, fall, and rise again ) Quote
Oky Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I think it would be great if there was a Lego game in the style of ADHO15's Clone Conflict! For those who don't know, it's like Galactic Battlegrounds, but with Lego vehicles and minifigs. They could have could have both CW and OT battles and many locations/maps to choose from. It would have to be a game for the PC with quality graphics though, not something as cruddy as Lego Battles. Quote
Eskallon Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Well I think lego should make the upcoming hobbit movie into a theme and then make a game based on that and also a lotr. Quote
Xenophilius Studz Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I really want some revamped classics. I could see the LEGO Island Series and LEGO Racers series get a whole bunch more themes to interact with, but I suppose that's what LU is for. I think a Power Miners, Agents, and Space Police game would be cool, Power Miners could be like the old Rock Raiders game. Agents, an action adventure that you can play for the Agents, or the INFERNO! And Space Police. Fighting down criminals, getting into massive spaceship fights. Heck, you could even add a SP1 and SP2 officer as bonus characters! Quote
SamuelsBricker Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Hello all, Samuel S. Bricker here to talk about what's next in LEGO gaming. First, let's talk about what's upcoming. First, we have Lego Harry Potter (available for pre-order on Amazon, ToysRUs, and Lego.com). TT and Lucasarts are also making a LEGO Star Wars III The Clone Wars. The game will feature the complete saga + the Clone Wars, joined for the first time in any videogame! Now, let's see what's likely! If you haven't been under a rock for the last couple of months, you may have noticed LEGO Prince of Persia, along with the upcomming movie! A very likely videogame ,too! Second, a LEGO Toy Story videogame could be in the future. I could see it being more populaur around ages 5-10! Also, a LEGO Rock Band 2 should not be far away ! This may come as a shock, but my favorite videogame isn't LEGO. It is actually Halo, a Bungie game. LEGO Halo has been a popular topic since 2007- after the release of Halo 3, when fans were interested to here bungies ideas for what's next. That's all for now! I'm a conformist!! Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Shouldn't this be in Culture and Multimedia? I don't believe a Lego Halo game will come out, MB has it(plus I don't play games like Halo :P). Quote
Siegfried Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Wrong gaming... I'm moving this topic to Culture and Multimedia. Quote
