Brick Miner Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i've just started to dabble with LDRAW and its a lot of fun (im shock at how much fun it is). however my play time ended when i couldn't finish my western themed sets. see, i can't find the decorated tiles with playing cards and money pattern. these pieces can't be found in the initial download, and i can't find them in the piece updates either. does anybody use LDRAW ??? have any suggestions, on where to find these pieces, or how to create them ??? - BM Quote
Jipay Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 The software section at ldraw.org provides a link toa software that allows you to create your own patterns. There are also special pieces packages that aren't validated yet on other websites, but I'll let Apo developp this option Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 2, 2006 Governor Posted April 2, 2006 (edited) You might like to send Apo a PM and draw his attention to this thread too, because if I remember correctly he's been using LDraw lately... UPDATE!!! I too have been using LDRAW lately thanks to Mr Jipay influence and I also had problems finding various pieces. The only advice I can give is search all the categories thoroughly, or hope someone who knows exactly where can tell you! Which is why I'd recommend asking Mr Apo too. Brick Miner Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 thanks for the suggestions... i can't seam to find the downloads that help you create pieces though. can i find this "apo" in the members section of eurobricks ??? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 4, 2006 Governor Posted April 4, 2006 Apo is short for ApophisV, take a look at his Royal Port thread (splendid MOC by the way) and you'll notice his user name in the very first post, click upon it and in the Communicate section (in the lower right) you'll see an option to Email or PM him. I must remember to do the same to ask him about his MOC! Quote
