Niku Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I like them all, but this one has its proper life. Quote
Vindicare Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Nice Scop. I like the soldiers being attacked by the octopus best. I don't think that little raft is going to survive that drop, poor pirates. Quote
Scop Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I can't believe how you can put your lego in such places, I would be terrified of them getting dirty or lost . Getting dirty is not the problem ,you can always wash them. And I only use Minifigures I have multiples of, just in case they get dirty in a way which isn´t easy to clean. The getting lost- thing is a slightly bigger problem, especially when it comes to fotos in real water. I always test if the things are able to float at home before I take them with me to the lake. A bit difficult in that respect was the foto with the pirates and the tiny waterfall. The waterdrift there is very strong and I had to be qick to take the photo before the poor pirates fell down and get out of my reach. Thanks everyone for the comments! :) Quote
Alex the Great Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I like them all, but this one has its proper life. I must say I have to agree with Niku, this picture is amazing! I really love how the knights seem to be crossing a small river. Keep up the good work Scop! Quote
Rumble Strike Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I took a Lion Knight to Warwick Castle with me today. I'm sad, I know, but I do like trying to take Lego pics outside of my photo studio. Here he is on the riverbank. Behind him is the Trebuchet and the jousting arena. Here he is high up on the ramparts. Behind him is Guy's Tower. I hope you enjoyed these pics Quote
Hoboman Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I love the idea of a Lego Knight at a real castle. Well done. Quote

1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Tried some shoots at the near lake. The suddenly: DUCKS! :D: One of the funniest Lego pics I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing! Edited September 19, 2011 by johnnyvgoode Quote
KotZ Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Well, sorry for the massive bump but I took a few pictures yesterday of some castle figures and these two came out the best. And this one is based off the Sword of Truth universe. Enjoy! Quote
K-Nut Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Really like that second picture. It looks very realistic and to scale. Quote
KotZ Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Thanks, K-Nut. I'm not a fan of how the headroom came out, but the cropping would have looked odd. Quote
Jakon Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 And this one is based off the Sword of Truth universe. Enjoy! Yay! Another person who reads the books! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 These looks great! I'm a big fan of the first picture! On a slightly different subject, is this where we post LOTR pictures? Quote
KotZ Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Great job Niku! I like the natural look on yours. And at JJS, yeah, I believe this is where you can put them. Quote
smellsgood Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Great thread, I'm enjoying all the great pictures. Here are some older photos of mine. I have newer ones, but I haven't put them online yet. pong0814 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 "The Middle-earth Bunch" View on Flickr (not really sure if the younger kids will get the "Brady Bunch" reference) Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Great collage of all the fellowship members, I prefer the alternate Frodo face though. Quote
smellsgood Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I have some new photos I'd like to share. It seems better to post in this ongoing thread, even though it's an old thread. :) Quote
paanjang16 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Wonder how it would be if Gandalf just got the eagle to send Frodo to Mount Doom instead? To me the Creator eagle is just the right side for the LOTR minifigures. Someone in TLG must had an idea for a giant eagle to complement LOTR. Quote
General Magma Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Wonder how it would be if Gandalf just got the eagle to send Frodo to Mount Doom instead? *snip* To me the Creator eagle is just the right side for the LOTR minifigures. Someone in TLG must had an idea for a giant eagle to complement LOTR. Nice pictures, but in case you didn't know, there's a LOTR photography topic right here. Quote
KotZ Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Sorry to bump the thread, but here's two pictures I took a few days ago. There's more, I just have't edited them yet. Quote
