June 26, 201113 yr mahjqa, just for your information .... Stilzkin Indrik now for sale at Brickoogle Mahja, are you affiliated with this store in anyway..? I don't see them mentioning your name anywhere in the description...
June 26, 201113 yr I am in no way involved with this store or sale, and was not informed. Can't say I'm happy about that. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've emailed him. We'll go from there.

We'll go from there. Hopefully you get some restitution out of it... I got so sick of people selling off models that I had done that it doesn't even bother me anymore... One way to look at it is that at least that you know that your design was good enough for someone to profit from...
June 26, 201113 yr Looking at the pictures from the Flickr's photostream pointed on the Bricklink page, and particularly at this pic : http://www.flickr.com/photos/patrickvh/5726933562/ , it reminds me someone who posted in this section about his "First MOC". He was showing this pic and asking us which MOC it was. Sometime later (but not that much ), he posted pictures of his finished "MOC" which ended to be Mahjqa's Stilzin Arctic Vehicule. These pics were the exact same as the ones of this photostream.

Pretty bad when the person actually posted about building this model right on here and then decides to make a small profit from the completed model... What a world we live in...
June 27, 201113 yr That is definitely the same person from here that is selling the model. He has the same name and is using the same exact picture for his bricklink avatar.

In my opinion, doing all the work to put together a model (someone else's MOC) based on a large number of parts is a service that is worth something and therefore I don't have a problem with a complete model being sold. However, when the model was designed by someone else, the designer should at least be credited. Even better, the designer should be given some portion some portion of the earnings.
