Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted February 17, 2011 Eurobricks Emperor Posted February 17, 2011 (edited) Best LEGO Sailing Ships Index What is this index for? This thread is for the best ships (minifigure illusion scale) from the Ship MOCs Index. How is this indexed? The Best LEGO Sailing Ships Index is sorted with the ship with the most points first and the ship with the least points last. Anyway you can help? As this was done in 2010 by public vote, there really isn't much to add. You can, however, ask questions and comment in this very topic. To what extent is this updated? This was done through public Eurobricks member vote in 2010. Thus, this is not updated regularly. With that said, another vote to see what are the best ships from the end of 2010 to now might happen in the near future. The Index No 1. lt.Gonville brickhead Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 So many great ships. I must congratulate Bonaparte and CGH on there winning. The Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion is a real beauty. Quote
Gabe Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Congrats to all the builders! Beautiful ships all and some seriously mad skillz on display. Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 So many great ships! Im surprised mine did so well as I think it looks odd stuck between all those huge custom sail ships that CGH and others have made. Ive never considered myself a ship builder and dont have much knowledge on the subject, but Im gonna start giving them a try now. The time and effort that you guys go through to make these huge detailed ships with custom sails and rigging has really paid off, as these ships all look fantastic. Great job from everyone, expecially CGH and Bonaparte for setting the standard that we all take inspiration from. Great work everyone, this is without a doubt, the best lego fleet on the web. Alldarker Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Wow... Even the ones that got 0 points are absolutely amazing. It would be impossible, of course, but I'd love to see a complete armada of all these ships together! Quote

Admiral Croissant Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Congratulations! The Nuestra Senora was my favourite too. A well-deserved 1st place. The Hansa Trade Cog also did quite well. Perhaps that's a type of ship we can make more of in the future. I'm looking forward to the next contest already. But I guess I have to make a better ship by then because the ships are improving very fast here lately! Quote
Admiral Bejaune Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Congrats to everyone and thanks for those who voted. One thing though the soleil royale ship is my creation, I was formally hms243. Thanks again! Quote
woody64 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 What a luck that I didn't vote because the number of outstanding items were really amazing .... Woody64 Quote
