DSCF3707.JPG

And the video :

This creations allow me to be contacted by Official Brand Citroen, for displayed a copy of my 2Cv in their musuem about tory and reproduction of citroen car.

The second creation is a thing I would male fo a long time : a clock powered by a Pneumatic engine !

Hi Nico,

I sent you an email oct. 27 about your road grader MOC and you never replied, so... here it is :classic:

Hopefully my inventory will be useful to someone down the line.

Bonjour,

J'ai reproduis votre niveleuse Lego à partir des photos sur votre page web!

http://www.nico71.fr/road-grader/

What an awesome deux chevaux!

Really good job on the outside and the inside.

Love the suspension and the way you fitted the engine, gearbox and steering in the front.

Hi Nico,

I made a conversion of your Trophy Truck with CVT. I made it manual and included some other things instead of the CVT and PF. I included the 4-speed transmission of your Pro-Truck, seats, a V6 fake-engine and HOG-steering (though the HOG is not yet available here). The model is still 4x4.

This is still the first iteration. I just thought, since this is originally your creation, I could post my sneak-peek here. The plan is to make a digital model now, then disassemble, re-work the center of the chassis with the transmission and steering, then re-build with a more reinforced chassis, slightly softer springs and some other changes, which I already though about.

First of all will be a change of the gear ratio. I kept the original ratio in the portal hubs. But pushing it around in 1st and 2nd gear is really bad and not working very well.

One year after my loom, I present you a braiding machine which makes rope of wristband :

I let you watch this and I will make a fully description as soon as my blog will be up to date.

Nice build Nico

I really like these kind of machines and yours is no exception.

The switching mechanism for alternating the output direction is very clever.

Fantastic! To echo the above sentiments - this is what I call Technic! So nice to see this sort of thing in a Technic world awash with crawlers and vehicles (not that that is necessarily a bad thing).

Wouldn't it be great if LEGO made some sets that were actually useful machines such as this.

Great stuff Nico!

Hello, thank you for all your comments !

I am also a quite bit lazy of vehicle and trial truck, that is why I prefer at this time machinery, more demonstrative, purely technic, nothing is hidden, all mechanical system is shown because it is nice, maybe it is a sort of kinetic art.

I am currently shooting the pictures for the building instructions :)

My 3 little girls were all amazed by it. As soon as there are instructions and a parts list, I'm going to have to look at how much I need to get to build one!

I've decided to try to build Nico's braiding machine, and as always, the first step for me is building it in MLCAD. This not only gives me a parts list, it gives me a preview of how everything goes together. In order to build the CAD file, I need to think about every single part. I decided to tackle the hardest part first: the main drum. No doubt this is an example of something that would have been a million times easier in LDD or SR3D, but I like to challenge myself and I love geometry!

Not too bad for a day's work!
