I felt that "what did I click now?" feeling for a second, then I was all "ah, a theme month!".

It's always fun to have one of these, even if this particular theme does not feel that close to me.

I do have a suggestion for a theme-related activity, though: why won't someone host an underwater-themed quest for Heroica RPG? If you ask how the players would be able to breathe underwater, the answer is simple: a wizard did it (most likely a Ziegfried)!

Oooh! Great idea! Can you make this happen? I'll add it to the first post.

Welcome to the deep ladies and gentlemen of Eurobricks. Watch out for the sea creatures and those pesky Atlantian Warriors. There's treasure to be won and more besides, so keep your eyes on Action!

I've added this to the first post!

This sounds like fun! I love underwater lego themes and I now have an exuse to rebuild my 8077 Atlantis Exploration HQ I just got last month. I guess there was a reason why i got it lol.

Sub Cool month ()

Excellent work on the the new site skin and banner!!

So much fun I "aquaified" my avatar.

One thing seems missing are we going to have underwater typeface for the usergroups like Indy or Castle month had? :oh:

The Penguin and my penguins like this month! )

Water is my element, so I consider it to be a matter of honor to participate in some the contests! Especially the avatar ones. )

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

Really cool banner and color scheme . I used to love Aquazone and Aquasharks as a kid. Too bad all that stuff is still in boxes in my mother's attic... Maybe I'll have to go fishing for some parts in those boxes . I'll see if I can get around to liquefy my avatar too :purrr:

I hope an MC80 Liberty type Star Cruiser looks underwater enough. My avatar was originally going to be changed to a dianoga, but I decided I liked this better.

Great aquatic variation of the 74-Z, Brickdoctor!*

*Should have done one of these.

Ew!

No seriously, the Mon Cal arc was one from the '03 series I didn't like. The giant Vulture droids completely disrupted my sense of scale the first time I watched it, and the fishy knights are way too small to push that giant cannon that fires a beam half the width of an Acclamator. Plus my sig-fig is not a B1.

But that's a conversation for another thread. :innocent2:

In the end, I could've done something aquatic from Star Wars canon, (or even non-canon official publications) but I really wanted to do Aquanauts.

I' ve always been a great fan of underwater theme... I have collect in the years almost all divers sets (just 1 missing..but nevermind :cry_sad:), I've done the same with nautica and harbour theme (except the last harbour theme which I have found not so great...expecially respect to the old ones I really love)

It's time to found an avatar for my profile...what better that an underwater one?

May I use also freehand drawing or photoshop or only real brick vignette for the avatar?

Hey, all right. In honour of Underwater Month, I'm going to pull the trigger on my personal challenge of the month: Make a convincing Cthulhu using only the parts in 5868 Ferocious Creatures. That's pretty underwatery, I think.

Well, now that it's October, is Underwater month over?

It's definitely been fun. :classic:

Theme months rarely coincide with actual months... and often end up being slightly longer or shorter.
