Nice sinister harbor you have built there, and I like the hint of reddish light in the water. Feels...Nocturnal

Almost too late :)

Not too happy with this effort and my story writing sucks big time :), totally out of time with work and the Sydney Brick Show.

Hello everyone (Again),

I first joined Nocturnus many a months ago, but soon following the 5th guild contest (That I entered) I thereafter fell off the radar. Now however, I’m interested actually, you know, doing stuff. Anyways, I never did anything with my first character, so I’m throwing that empty failure to the side and starting anew, still in Nocturnus of course. I’m a bit late to the party of chapter one, so I’ll most likely be just making some free builds until it picks up again. I’ll be working on a backstory history for my Nocturnus peoples over the next few weeks and posting those things hopefully before the end of free builds (We can never have enough Nocturnus free builds!).

To the point; I love the look of the Black Falcons, and while they were way before my time, I finally, recently, acquired some, hence the Black Falcons of Nocturnus…

Lord Fendrel Falco leads the disgraced Black Falcons into the borders of Nocturnus

“Exiled for their crimes and treachery, the Black Falcons led by their Lord, Fendrel Falco, wandered the lands of Historica, settling in the dark forests of Nocturnus. Their quest for power is matched only by their hatred of the guilds and the Men of Lion responsible for their banishment. Here in the dark forests of Nocturnus, they now begin to construct their castle, to which their horrid army will spring forth…"

Hopefully this is acceptable for Nocturnus—mostly because they’re more human than human-breed. Of course, soon the other guilds will see why they’re more animal then human. Anyways, I’m excited to get building for Nocturnus and the backstory of the Falcons and Falco.

I think it is acceptable  Some Kaliphlins do use the Black Falcons as well, but that don't may be a problem :classic: Mpya Stedor is specialised in trading with Nocturnians so hopefully our paths will cross soon :classic:

@Dr. Rod, it's as beautifull as my Drow Emissary said :classic:

Thanks! Ahh, yes I saw that. I too don't think it will be a problem, more of just something that could be added in story wise as to why they are all split up. And our paths might cross, but not in a passive way.

As you are new (again) to Nocturnus, I will consider this as a newbie mistake :classic:

Nice to see Nocturnus still alive (or undead? ) with new members and challenge VI entries!

Of course various factions in Historica are using falcons on their coat of arms since the falcon is an elegant and strong animal, and common all over Historica.

Awesome!! a new member of Nocturnus! I use the dragon knights (with red trim) and Dr Rod has a similar tale of exile. I have a hoard of black falcons too, looking forward to more Nocturnus builds now!! I also have to get seom free builds going ;)

By the way, really dig the flying falcon!!

Yes, I've seen Falcons in a few builds. I'll make sure to distinguish mine though as Nocturnus ones.

Thanks! It's time to kick Nocturnus up a notch--we're way too behind!

Nice reinvention Nemo. I am glad to see the falcons rise, they were one of my favorite lines too, but I only have a few in storage. That flying falcon is great though. Really look forward to more blood flowing through Nocturnus. Also, great job to both Dr. Rod and Zilcho for getting in some nice looking Chal 6 entries.

As I recall, before the four guilds were formed, there were a lot of different factions, and their heraldry can pop up anywhere.

Also, this isn't the first time Black falcon has turned up in nocturnus.

By the way, that is an awesome bird design.

Yes I know I've seen Falcon's in other places. Though not that pick of some in Nocturnus (Though they've turned more monster then Falcon!) I've got a nice way of explaining that. The first free build(s) I'll be working on is a history of the Nocturnus Falcons, and how they ended up there, and it works well with how Falcons ended up everywhere.

its always good to say a new approach to Nocturnus. Way to go Nemo!

Welcome (well kinda) to GoH, Captain Nemo! I have seen your MOCs in other parts of EB and I must say that I am looking forward to what you come up with in the days to come. :classic:

Thanks for keeping the honour of our guild up, folks, during the challenge XI. And welcome Captain Nemo to our malicious guild! I believe the Black Falcons will find themselves in the perfect spot here.

I only managed to complete my first build for the challenge, Black Knights seeking an alliance with the Orcs. My second build, the evil wizards castle is still in progress and will be for a long time. It will be published when I'm satisfied with the result.

Just to let you know that the Black Knights haven't abandonned GoH. They are still making schemes in the shadows..

@Balthasar: Excellent build! Innovative tower designs and the use of the orange works surprisingly well

I agree. Perhaps we could make that a Nocturnus Look, using an odd colored brick as an accent color. I've seen regular red done well, and One of my WIPs has white as an accent color.

that looks real good balthasar! keep it up!

I like the top to the tower! Suits the orcs well!

Dr Rod

Thanks for the comments folks!

The colourscheme I tried to copy from Cheeseslopes orc tower, which suits the orcs well indeed. I didn't quite manage to copy the style as much as I wanted because I lack in dark grey, dark tan and he uses a different orange. My collections is a bit too classic somethimes.

My next creation will have the black knights (black/light bley) colourscheme again, but it will probably take another 2 months to complete.

Yeah, I do prefer the darker colours, especially in Nocturnus.

Looking forward to your next addition to Nocturnus.

I'm thinking I need to pump out some smaller builds whilst trying to sort out my LEGO room and pull down MOCS.
