I went to one of the Lego stores here in the Dallas area, and they said they had at least 7 Mr. Golds in their store already. (I got mine from a Toys R Us) That means there were at least 8 Mr. Golds in North Texas alone!!! It seems disproportionate. I kind of owe it to my fiance to sell it if she wants, she has been so patient with my Lego hobby, and we could pay for a honeymoon with that money... but I really want to keep it.

Ok, I hoped distribution would be bit better.

That would be one of those really, really, really good reasons.

Oh my goodness, it's been so long! Sorry guys about being away from GoH for such an extended amount of time. :cry_sad: Still, it's exciting to see so many new mocs - the tourism builds are lovely and a great idea! I'm going to have to sit down and have a proper look at them, as well as go through all the sweet challenge 6 entries.

I am still keen to build in Kaliphlin and continue with some of the stories i've started, but it might still be a few weeks away before i get the chance to post any new builds... i'm pretty crazy busy with work and life in general atm. But hopefully i'll be able to get it together to comment in the threads a little more regularly!

ps. Congrats Ska for finding a Mr. Gold! Whatever you end up doing with it, it's a great score.

Lord Erudhalion Sansael! Thank heavens you're safe. We were concerned the recent troubles up country may have inconvenienced you. Great to see you back

@Gabe: Great to have you back! Hope you will have more building time soon :classic:

Thanks! Yeah me too... my tasks list seems like a hydra these days, knock one job off and two spring up to take it's place. Hmm, that gives me an idea...

Cheers robuko! I was concerned that my absence had inconvenienced the guild, but i needed have worried. :classic: So good to see so many active builders here still - i look forward to joining in the fun again!

As for poor Berigora, well...

Beauty, truth, and rarity.

Grace in all simplicity,

Here enclos'd in cinders lie.

Death is now the phoenix' nest;

And the turtle's loyal breast

To eternity doth rest,

Leaving no posterity

(with apologies to Shakers  )

At the end of June the current chapter will end and all the points will be added up. Free builds won't end but they won't be included in those numbers after June. Does that make it clear as mud?

Unless the rules change for the next chapter :grin:

Here's the latest day on our tour of beautiful sunny Kalihplin. Complete with bona fide Eastern Kaliphlin influences. You control the action.

Congratz! Well deserved!

Now that's cool! Congrats Masa!

Thanks! Getting blogged on TBB was quite an exciting surprise!

I will be away for the next few days and I ran out of time to make my big MOC presentable for posting so it will have to wait. Probably just as well as it will be so much more magnificant when I have got the end towers added.

Have fun!

Congratulations Masa! Keep up the good work!

Maybe the big build will be finished in time to be entered in the architecture challenge? :classic:

Visiting Herbologists should be done and photographed tomorrow. At 48x64 it is my largest GOH build to date. I'll have to acquaint myself with the new Flickr sharing set-up. Hopefully I can get it posted in time to be credited to GOH Book 1. Anticlimax will have to be part of Book 2, and will be posted in parts.

I'm late but I finally took the time to comment on all the great 'Inside Kaliphlin' MOCs you guys have been turning out. I've really been enjoying them and kudos for putting together such a cohesive and fun community project. I love Mitgardia and the members in it but the amount of life inside your guild is enviable.

We all must thank Kai, she is the mastermind! There is life in Mitgardia, I just think summer is eating people up right now. We Texans spend a lot of it indoors because of the heat, so its pretty evident we will still be active! haha.

On another note...

Is DM sleeping a lot lately? I think I am catching up to him in posts. In a couple of days I will have a present for him.
