I would say around 60% of my main collection is pirates. The rest is adventurers, castle, and Wild West. For my secondary collection (the one not in storage that I have available to me) I would say only around 10%

Mister Phes, do you own every pirate set ever produced? Is so some pictures would be awesome.

I guess perhaps 10%, most of my official LEGO sets are train sets from the days back then. I started to order my own bricks instead, used for both pirates and castle.

So the percentage of pirate sets in my lego collection is between 5-10%

The percentage of bricks used for pirate MOCs in my collection is about 80%

And I have quite a lot of bricks.

I own a lot of Lego sets, but in number I would estimate my Pirates to be about 60%. I try to buy all the sets that come out. I double up on a lot of sets like the Imperial Flagship, Soldier's Fort, Whitecap Bay, London Escape, etc. I also have many Impulse sets like Soldier's Arsenal and Cannon Attack. The sets I have from other themes are usually the bigger ones. For example I have the old Millenium Falcon, Scorpian Palace, City of Atlantis, MMV, and the large City Airport. They are big, but only count as one set, though.
