IE 9 has worked a lot better for me than any other IE browser, might have to look into something else.

I've had the same problem with IE9. Though, I've found it far slower than IE8.

I get it when I use the other PC in the house. It just jumps to a reply, it drives me crazy!

I guess not, but I was trying to say that. Maybe I'm just talking in circles.

:wall: ... Ahem. Using a different PC doesn't matter if you are using the same internet browser. Ah, trouble with your interwebs?

Here's hoping that purple snot means Independent or that badboy's just messing with us, and not that there actually was an alignment called 'Renegade'... :look:

Also, the ten-day trip that I mentioned when I signed up starts tomorrow for me, but I'll still be on EB at least once a day. (a real day, not an in-game Day)

Thanks for letting me play, Badboy :classic:

It really was pretty fun, I loved the setting and the characters, as well as the narratives. Overall, it has been a great game so far

And it was definitely a new experience for me. Go Secret Agents!

You locked the thread while I was writing a post! That's so frustrating!

Sorry, I'd already whored myself out to keep it open those few extra minutes as it was.

Happened to me too! The sad fact is, I knew it was probably close to closing, and tried to rush my post. I ended up making so many mistakes, that I spend most of my time going back and correcting my post. If only I had had patience!

Aw, I know you were all writing such great defend speeches for me. To bad you didn't get to post them, I'm sure they would have turned the voting around. :cry_sad::tongue:

He got caught up gazing into her eyes so he barely noticed what was going on around him. The family was tired of waiting for Gramps so they picked up Horiko and carried him towards the Dragon of Truth.

Wait! No! I'm not what you think I am! I am a Yakuza! I'm not a bad guy! I'm not a mutineer, I'm not a special agent! But the family had heard enough and threw Horiko into the beak of the beast!

I notice that not even the host can spell the character names right

It's pretty hard to remember Japanese names, since they may as well be new words. It's not like in Europe where everyone has a variation of other countries' names (John, Sean, Ian, Johan, Jean, Gionni etc).

One easy thing to remember is that girls tend to have "ko" at the end of their names, about 70% of the time. Men's names almost never do, except in "hiko". What does that ko mean? Child. Kind of patronizing to put child in a woman's name. Akiko (明子)= Bright child. Yoko (陽子)= positive child. Yumiko (由美子)= beautiful child.

How do I rate the authenticity of the names in the game?

Nobuo

Chieko

Shizuko

Akio - I never heard it before, but it's plausible

Noriko

Setsuku - Very strange sounding.

Kenta

Saburo - uncommon

Emi

Lizzy - Obviously a joke name

Shiro - I never heard it but plausible

Hanako

Akira

Momoe

Kin - Very strange. Single character names are rare, and the first meaning of the name that jumps out at me is "gold"

Manga - Joke

Maniko - I never heard it, but it's plausible

Norio- I never heard it, but it's kind of plausible. I never heard "nori" in a name. "o" is common enough, like in Kunio

Hiroki

Daisuke

Tamiko

Aiko

Cherry Blossom - I don't know why you didn't call her Sakura

Yasu - Very uncommon. Yasu is half a name, Yasumasa, Yasuhiko, etc.

Lloyd Jr - Joke

Ichirou - a little uncommon, despite the baseball player. Usually Junichiro.

Tadao -I never heard it, but plausible.

Yasuko

Minoru

Jirou

Yoshiko

Isamu

I know that in crafting a mafia game, the authenticity of the names is of the highest importance :sadnew: On that level, the game mostly succeeds :sweet:

Awaiting day five badboy, you've got everyone's night actions in I hope

*snip*

I've heard a few of the ones you haven't, so they're accurate as well.

Shiro - I've heard it a couple of times, oddly only in the States, though.

Norio- Either the father or the grandfather (don't remember which) of a family I knew in Japan was named Norio. I've heard "Nori-" used in a few other names as well.

Tadao -Heard this one a few times as well. I believe it was one of my Japanese language teachers, otherwise it was a relative of his we were talking about.

Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there. :shrug_oh_well:
