Walter Kovacs Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I've got a few irons in the fire. I am building all of my official sets, organized loosely by theme, photographing them, and then taking them back apart. When I finish I'll add the photos to my Brickshelf page. I just started the Technic Theme, but I have a looooong way to go. I also have three models going in MLCad. I made a thread about them HERE. Quote
M'Kyuun Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) I just finished this today. Comes in at 2,084 pcs. I wanted to put an elevating platform in it, on the backside, but LDD doesn't have string to make a proper winch. It started out small; I just wanted to try my hand at the floating rock idea, and it just kept growing as I worked on it. I'd love to buy it and figure some way of hanging it up(it's terribly overbalanced...virtual reality is great! No pesky gravity), but it's a bit pricey, someting like $224 USD. There's just too much official stuff coming out that I want to get, plus I'm buying a house, so....sacrifices. Edited June 6, 2008 by M'Kyuun Quote
Matn Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 At the moment I'm building a cycling diorama for my father (tomorrow it's Fatherday here). Yes, I have started way to late, but the idea came this morning... For now it's the coolest thing I've ever built... I hope it's ready tomorrow, because I'm now at 1/3 ... I had to do other things today. Luckely, my father is going away tomorrow morning untill the afternoon, so I still have all the time. =) Quote

lego.ryan Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Working on finishing two Pirates of the Caribbean creations: the Empress (Sao Feng and then Elizabeth's ship) which will has custom sails that look great (!); and a new version of the Flying Dutchman with a brickbuilt hull. My new version of the Black Pearl needs some serious dusting, though. Will post pictures of all three of them when I finish the Empress and Dutchman. EDIT: Since I don't have any more reddish-brown bricks, the Empress is on hold for the time being. I am working on a little junk ship though that is comprised of the two ends of the Viking Ship hull. And it has a custom sail! Edited June 21, 2008 by lego.ryan Quote

JimBee Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 sorry, double post. I really have been trying to make a house out of LEGO, not focusing on walls or anything, but and interior. I have made numerous small houses on gree plates, by making a bathroom. bedroom, living room, etc., but they arent really "rooms" , just many furniture elements put together, like a sink, a bed etc. And i was never really satisfied with any of my houses. I soon found that the reason why i was not satisfied with the houses was because i had no material to base them off of, so i thought, "why not make my own house, into LEGO?!?". So thats exactly what im going to attempt, the first floor and basement (not the top floor... just my moms master bedroom and bath) of my Bungalo house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I will start this summer by creating as many furniture elements as i can, with a few bricklink orders. Then, after school starts and ive gotten most of the sets ive wanted for the year, (hopefully some for mt b-day in November and Chirstmas) i will start making BL orders for the correct color walls, carpets, etc., and all the rest that i need. This is definatley going to be the biggest LEGO project i have ever done so far, so i hope it will turn out. Thanks for listening, JimButcher Quote

CP5670 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 It might be good to pin/sticky this thread again. I always like to see what other people are building. Quote
chris_austin Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 My current project is learning MLCAD. I don't have the space to do a lot of building so i'm using the almost unlimited virtual space! The software is excellent The project i'm working on with it was my SWCW competition bignette but I was taking too long to build it so now i'm focussing on a decent Ewok village. There are some excellent villages out there but i'm sure that I can do a better job Quote
filefolders Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 (edited) I've been working on a model of the Ebon Hawk from the Star Wars rpg Knights of the Old Republic since January 2007. It's not coming along very well unfortunately and my be scrapped soon. I'm just about to finish a side project that is a gun-ship that looks similar to the Russian Ka-50 "Black Shark". Capt. Bluebeard Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I plan to make an Imperial Guard ship, about the same size as the Renegade Runner, but it'll have a different colour scheme and design. Unfortunately, it hasn't reached the "building stage" yet, but I've started de-constructing my Renegade Runner so I've got the ship base to work with. Bluebeard, out- Quote
Tenorikuma Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 (edited) I'm building an Ice Mages' Castle in Bricksmith. When I'm done, I'll generate a parts list and buy them off Bricklink or something. The main spellcasting tower is almost complete (see below). Edited July 20, 2008 by Tenorikuma Quote
rriggs Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 (edited) Just cleared space to start putting together my 1980s(-ish) LEGO Town. Going to use as much as possible just stock late 1980s and early 1990s sets. There will also be a few 2005+ City sets too for a bit of variety. Mostly just Town sets but also a couple of Castle and Pirate to form and Old Town area. Due to space limitations looking at a plan of fifteen road plates as the size (5x3). Lots of vehicles and minifigs. Will also try and squueze in an out of town building site to incorporate some of the more recent larger construction models. Am going to take photos step by step of the Town as it grows. Cheers Rog Edited July 27, 2008 by rriggs Quote
