Pvt13 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Hey guys, Just wanted to let you guys know I won't be around for some time, as you might have noticed. Everyday life is catching up and I thought I would let you all know. I will be back eventually, when things settle down a bit, but I can't really put a time frame on it :( The story of Bjorr and Edd will continue! I still have a build half finished so it will keep calling to me :P Hope to see you guys soon and have fun ! P.s. I will miss the cold north, and you guys! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 @Pvt13: Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear you do have plans to continue your story when you get more time Quote

soccerkid6 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 It's been a bit quiet around here lately, anyone have MOCs in the works? Here's a freebuild placed in Avalonia: Quote
dathil Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Ofcourse I have, started a new project yesterday. Hope to finish it before end of the month, will be my most detailed build till now. preview will come on flickr :P Im also working on a story, and I need to reintroduce my sigfig for I am probably changing to flesh figs, considering the amount of flesh heads I have right now. Tomsche Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Yes, got some planned and semi-started, but I`m stuck first with having to complete some builds for the Conventions coming up, as well as the second plate of a pirate town for a large display for Brick Mania Antwerp. GoH has been forced a bit on the backburner because of that in all honesty, but I`m still aiming to complete that AoM project to the fullest. Quote
Alfadas Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Well, besides the Diorama I'm working on (you can see the progress either on Flickr or here) I'm not working on anything really. For one, most of my bricks are used up by the Diorama and secondly I don't have much inspiration for AoM builds... Edited August 14, 2016 by Alfadas Quote

Great, glad to hear that, besides the fleshy part... Yellows forever! Yes, got some planned and semi-started, but I`m stuck first with having to complete some builds for the Conventions coming up, as well as the second plate of a pirate town for a large display for Brick Mania Antwerp. GoH has been forced a bit on the backburner because of that in all honesty, but I`m still aiming to complete that AoM project to the fullest. Conventions do take a lot of work, good to know you're still planning Mitgardian stuff though Well, besides the Diorama I'm working on (you can see the progress either on Flickr or here) I'm not working on anything really. For one, most of my bricks are used up by the Diorama and secondly I don't have much inspiration for AoM builds... You don't plan on placing the diorama in GoH? Fun stories/characters can also offer good inspiration for builds Quote
Tomsche Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Knowing our "lay out planner", who is also on Eurobricks and tends to toggle between Pirates and Castle, I`m going to have all the time in the world in 2017 to build Castle themed again (well, at least until BMA deadline that year then ) Quote
Alfadas Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 You don't plan on placing the diorama in GoH? Fun stories/characters can also offer good inspiration for builds Well, I do plan to place the diorama in Mitgardia once it is finished. I though it would get a bigger audience while building it in the regular Historic sub-forum. The diorama might include some stage 3 AoM builds, like a windmill or house or storage. And yeah, I do like to make up stories and figures, but they don't really fit with the categories I still need to complete... But I'll figure something out. Quote
