I apologize for my long hiatus. I was finishing up a project at work that I had been working on for the past year, and the deadline was this week. I will be updating the first post with all of our current members, and I will be posting the next task shortly.

Dagashy - Welcome to Avalonia!

DeGothia - You're Benoic Countryside is lovely, and is very reminiscent of MikeyB's builds.

Wedge09 - I like the farmer's fields, and your use of the fedoras for your farmers.

Hammerbro33 - Excellent minifigs! I will have to post my Elves soon. They are along the same lines as a number of your figs. I love the antlers! I may actually have to pick those up myself.

I will be posting my Elven Armies shortly in a separate thread, but they inhabit all of the realms of Historica, not just Avalonia.

Titles can be given by Moderators and Administrators. I guess that shortens the lists of suspects.

Garren Karj

Born in a small forest town, Garren was taught how to fight from a very early age. He learnt how to hunt and track and learnt the ways of the wild. At the age of 16, he was out mapping the forest when he came across a small hut. Inside was an old mage. Garren spoke with the mage and came to an agreement. As the mage was dying, he wanted someone to carry on what he had learnt. Garren agreed to take on a student of his own in return for this arcane knowledge. For a year after that day, Garren made the trip into the woods to study with the man. Soon after Garren had finished his studies, the mage died. Garren is now taking on an apprentice, Ranion. Since then, Garren has become a minor lord in charge of protecting and watching the small island of Tromir. He has formed a garrison and built a fort near the seaside town of Stony Shore. The garrison consists of two rangers, two archers, two infantrymen, an knight by the name of Ser Vornwood and Garren and Ranion. Garren has been protecting this isle for nearly a decade.

SECOND TASK

Avalonians! Your Lords and Ladies (Sigfigs) have need to travel the realm. Who accompanies them on these journeys? What is their standard retinue. Lord Varis is attended by his Master of Blades, Commander Aderian, and his Master of Bows, Commander Elldellan. He is usually also accompanied by a pair of Elven blades and a pair of Elven archers.

For the second task, you should provide a picture of your Lord/Lady and their entourage. They can be mounted or on foot, but it should be how you'd expect to see your sigfig about in the realm. Remember that you should be displaying flags in the guild colors (dark green and sand green) or incorporating these colors into your uniform or standards. Entries for this task should be posted in this thread.

THIRD TASK

Name and describe your realm/territory/region. What would one encounter as they travelled across your realm. Are their great forests or rolling plains? Is there a great lake or river of note? Who are the residents and what are they like? Do you have a tribe of hostile goblins living on your lands?

Some Avalonians have already provided a very vivid picture of their realms through their builds. Any entry for this task should be posted as a separate topic and a link should be posted on this thread. This topic should include description in the form of words and pictures. The pictures may be in the form of builds, photos of real life locations or art.

You should write about the person that represents your realm when abroad. Would your Lord travel themself or would they send a representative? If your sigfig is not a Lord, you can post a picture if those companions they normally travel with.

I have a question regarding the second task. I guess my Lord will lead troops available to help the poeple of Nocturnus. So it would be a little bit difficult to get all of them on one picture^^.

From my point of you the second task means to show people which are in general around the Lord, isn't it?

For the second task, it should be your peace-time entourage, not your army. There should not be more than a dozen people in anyone's entourage unless they are extremely paranoid.

Niku, great to hear you'll have entries for Tasks 2 and 3, any chance you'll get a Task 1 entry in, or did I miss it?

Nikutai Arfelan, lord of the Arfelan Plains, travels on the lands of Historica with the company of a few of the Immortals, the elite cavalry unit from its domains, they are heavy cavalry and with their lord are a capable fierce force, that patrols the lands bringing justice to the people.

ARDETHAIN: The Ardethains are the elite infantry of the region, they are also excellent tacticians and historians, altought their numbers are low since the days of the Agleon the 13th, they dwell on an hostile city, controlled by their enemies, peace was established by the Arfelans, but on the meantime they sharpen their blades and study their rivals. Current keepers of the Kenku egg, an ancient artifact of great power. Used to be an exclusive relic right of safekeeping by the Agleons, that privilege was lost due to their madness.

Niku - Excellent entries. I like the variety in your ranks, but a bearded elf!? I figured you had a Task 1 entry coming, I just thought I might have missed it. I also like the posing for you Task 3 entry. Great job!
