Our brothers and sisters are in peril! The drow are notoriously late payers, we are rooting for the ancien regime. Good luck out there, we will muster a crack unit to help.

Rougeang, that is a lovely build

My vote goes to de Gothia.

And it's my fault for not taking a full picture of my entry, but I used the same moc for both task 2 and the drow challenge. Here is the picture for the drow,

Penkid - MikeyB is not elgible for a vote since his entry was built well in advance of this challenge.

Simon - The story team will be changing as the Challenges go on. You are not eligible for this round, but anyone who posts an entry for Challenge II will be eligible for the Challenge III story team. The goal is to get as many people involved as possible. Feel free to PM if you have any ideas you would like to share.

Rob - I'm glad you like the build!

Ah. Well then, to de Gothia the vote goes.

I'll be honest, I'd love to be part of the story team (the power I would have to manipulate the story is a certain sort of way that would very much benefit Dawn of Ages' future...) although current events seemed to have me on wits end. I will keep up with builds for the main challenges, but as for freebuilds for the beautiful Guild we love, they will be few and far between.

Best of luck to our future story builder candidates!

His Grace the Duke LeStrange has discovered an unearthly ancient illustrated text that was found in a Nocturnus Sulphur Mine. It may explain some of the recent evil that has befallen your fair land. This invasion seems to be the culmination of an abominable plot. The text reads:

"Ages ago, my children were forced to go across the vast seas surrounding Historica

This was not an exile, or a simple stroll trough the greenly parks of Avalonia, as if there was ever a dangerous place filled with fierce creatures, it is uncharted land over the border of Historica

Sea and sky was never meant to be a home for the Drow. Dark is the place we flourish in, and Underdark is the place we will claim as our own once again!

With power and sheer will to survive the Dark Elves have become mighty, and now we are ready to return and help our sisters to level Historica once and for all

As we swarm over your lands with fire and web, steel and lies, you will remember the power of the Drow!

Drow rule supreme!

Wow Robuko, that is really amazing! Stunning work with this, it is HUGE!

It's from Angeli, not Robuko .

Nevertheless, it's an awesome build. The Drow indeed become mighty!

My vote goes to hammerbro, but all the entries are looking great! Hope more will come for our mighty guild!

angeli knew how to pick a fight for sure!!

edit: Don´t know why I missed to praise your perfect moc RG! I love all about it! The spikes (name please!?) in front of the gate is a great touch! Reminds me of the anti tank things on the D-day!

I think one word for that is 'chevaux de frise'?

So that's what 'chevaux de frise' means! I've always wondered. Would it translate 'barriers of spikes', more or less?

Edit. Think I've heard it in connection with the battle of Crecy. It probably referred to the hedge of spiked poles the archers drove into the ground, though I didn't get it until now.

Now I´ve started a new moc showing the village of Sionnach and how the village become a city. And this with help of Gideons builders..

Looking forward to that! Nice to see you back in full good old dG productivity btw :classic:

I'm going on the nice Swedish paternity leave from April 1st for about 6 months, so even though I will be the one doing most of the household chores then I'm hoping to sneak in some more building time then between cooking and changing diapers
