Wedge09 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Great minifigs and story legoloco! Welcome in Avalonia! Quote
TheRedViper Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Can anyone see my settlement Ironhedge on the map, I can't see it anywhere... Quote
Bacon Potatoes Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 So, I have a question. Can I change my sigfig as my story evolves or do I have to to keep the same sigfig for the duration of the book? I'm trying to figure out my story line, and I kind of want to have a sort of royal shakeup in my kingdom. Also, welcome legoloco to the greatest of the guilds! Quote

You can change your sigfig at any time, but you must conclude their storyline by killing, banishing, or having them settle down to name a few options. Quote
narbilu Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I just did... my sigfig is presumed dead, so he changed his appearance for the time being. Quote
Leki Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Leki - I love the map, and I have adjusted the borders accordingly. Thanks ! I hope to be able to present first tasks this week end ! Leki. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) I have a build done, I just need to take pictures. Fingers crossed that it'll be up by the weekend! EDIT: I'm working on my temple for Ruadh, and have the main altar built. Any suggestions/critiques? Edited September 25, 2014 by -Carson Haupt- Quote
MiloNelsiano Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) If you have the pieces for it definitely do a stained glass type window under the arch in the back (if you weren't planning on it already). Also, if the large figure in the center depicts the father in your five fold religion I'd give him a beard and some hair if you have them in white. Another thing you could try with the pointed arches is to raise the front pair of arches one brick to give it a layered effect. I hope that made sense. I'm also not 100% sold on the design with the vertically striped bricks although I'm not sure what I'd replace them with. All in all not a bad start. I've been considering a temple build and like the use of white arches quite a bit. Edited September 25, 2014 by MiloNelsiano Quote
Scaevola Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Looking good so far Carson, though I might add another color to its color scheme to vary it a little. It would also make those sand-red candles seem more relevant Edited September 25, 2014 by Scaevola Quote

I've been considering a temple build and like the use of white arches quite a bit. I do plan on doing a stained glass, I'm not yet decided if it will be an image or just a pattern. I also haven't decided if the central figure represents the father, or all five aspects united. I should probably figure they out. I'll have to see how the layered arches look? Looking good so far Carson, though I might add another color to its color scheme to vary it a little. It would also make those sand-red candles seem more relevant Thanks! I've added some mosaic striping in dark red, pearly gold and olive green, and the stained glass will feature red predominately, so the candles won't seem so out of place. Quote
de Gothia Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Welcome new members! Great to have you here! Regarding the river Avonmora, in the first maps it ended up in the ocean and I thought it was rather large? A new moc is coming soon! Have to take some pics of it and then edit them! Edit: and here it is! http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=100662 So many great mocs lately! Have to catch up with them!! Edited September 26, 2014 by de Gothia Quote

-Carson Haupt- Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Regarding the river Avonmora, in the first maps it ended up in the ocean and I thought it was rather large? Well in that case, I won't change anything! Is it wide enough for a small city to be contained in it do you think? Quote
cablefoxley Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Hi folks just checking something with you. Im assuming my avalonia task 5 can be be used in task 4 as military build req. Is this allowed? Also on the moc im working on, does this this wall look to plain. Its the ground floor of a 3 story building. Quote
TheRedViper Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) The wall looks good to me Edited September 27, 2014 by TheRedViper Quote
Bregir Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I think it is looking great - not too plain to me. I assume task 5 can count as task 4 military too, but I am not sure. Quote
Rogue Angel Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Task 5 builds can indeed be used for Task 4. Quote
cablefoxley Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Ta rogue, thought that was the case. Im hoping to finish a small moc early this week, then hopefully I can crack on with camp lefox. Also apart from orcs, what make good drow figs. Quote
Rogue Angel Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Check out pages 34 and 35 of this thread and topic 89539 ( I believe. I'm on my mobile, so I can't be positive.) Quote

Kerntechniker Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Hi, I have posted a new entry for task 4. It is a temple, see here! Edited September 28, 2014 by Kerntechniker Quote
Hammerhand Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Wow, I've been inactive due to busy-ness for a little while, and I see I've missed a ton of great builds, but there's just to many to comment on. So I'll just say here (as someone else did recently I think), great builds all of you! I'll hopefully be able to keep up with new builds after today. As for me, I'm still working on task 5, but I've got to that point where I'm lacking ideas, pieces, and time. And all the rest of the build kind of hinges on me completing certain parts first, so I can't move on and come back later... Quote
cablefoxley Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Just posted a free build. C & c welcome. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=100736 Cheers Quote
Hammerhand Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Sweet, challenge three is looking pretty rad! I'll admit, I paused that video a lot to look at the builds in detail... And good choice in music too. Quote
