WOW this is awesome!

I want this Shell station!

It must be an original lego set! :cry2:

Thanks 'LT12V', now while I'm waiting for my 6 red 2x1 door rails to finish the red line along the roof I might design an extra building - a Kmart Tyre & Auto workshop......so AWESOME should continue......but still any suggestions please feel free to post them.....keep watching !

Great work tiger & remember 'Down Down prices are down" lol

Thanks 'Snaplock'......I should have an aging British rock band playing at the pub shouldn't ?

I'm still waiting on those parts.....gee I forgot I need minifigs for the Coles Express itself.....better do that soon I guess  ......keep watching !

Wow very nice lift jacks!

Thanks for noticing 'LT12V', I don't think anyone has considered making a trolley jack like I have there ?

I can't wait to get those missing parts so I can finish the driveway off......but this layout here is wider than 48 studs ! *oh2*

Oh well, I guess I will need more 48x48 base plates then and a rethink on where this all goes to in New Mannum.

Keep watching !

This is beginning to take shape and all the stickers really take this whole build to another level.

Can i ask what paper you use for the stickers since i myself need to make a whole lot of them for my first modular build.

Thanks in advance. :)

Also your interior is really impressive. Have you posted the interior for the "rural services" build in another post, or are they on their way ?

Thanks for the kind words 'LEGO family', I now use matte sticker paper in A4 size since my supplier stopped selling gloss photo sticker paper.

Now another little update......note added wall components to two of the three buildings....keep watching ! :sweet:

Edit - Ooop's I forgot to answer that other question......yes, those modules are from another design.....I believe in recycling.

Looking good LT...I love the work on the Petrol Station canopy and pumps. I would say the 'Tyre/Auto' Centre facade might need a touch of detailing at roof level to break up the blank white plain.

Thanks for the feedback 'gazumpty', actually a real Kmart Tyre & Auto is that plain on.....though some have a painted effect similar to the one on the front of the counter.

I hope within a week or so to finish the canopy.....waiting parts plus I must design the ceiling to it as well.....more parts again.....oh, well keep watching !

I think you want to, hence asking the question :sweet: and I can think of no reason why you shouldn't!! I'd be interested to see your car wash

Thanks 'timmy', I will be building to be located east of the Kmart Tyre & Auto.....on the west of the Rural Services will be a lot to display tractors.

Keep watching......oh, any suggestions on car wash design would be helpful thanks.

Unless your planning on extending the sidewalk, I think you should move your rural services store a few studs forwards. the side walks don't look like they line up properly. just a suggestion. :)

EDIT: post posted twice in same comment somehow.

Thanks 'LEGO family' and 'LTF' for your comments, etc.,.

These structures are yet to be fitted to base plates so there will be ramps/sloped pavement leading from the road surface up to the current pavement there. This section looks like it's going to need 3 48x48 base plates ! :look:

Anyway, I have a car wash to design next.....keep watching !

Hey lightningtiger,

I am part of Coles Express and have to say the entire team here absolutely loves your recreation. I would love to get in contact with you and hear more about how you put it together and just the whole process in general.

If you are able to flick me an email at christopher.james@coles.com.au with your contact details that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Christopher James
