Blakstone Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 This is tenth week of Middle-Earth Madness. Minas Morgul strengthens it's reign, but will it last? If you had to pick only one Dream set, which would it be? Minas Morgul OR Fangorn Forest Just like last week, these are dream sets so there is no hard or fast rule on what has to be included in either. Imagine you had a chance to greenlight just one LEGO Lord of the Rings set based on a simple description. Which one would you want? Summary from previous weeks: Week 9 - Minas Morgul smashes the Gray Havens 30 to 5 Week 8 - Minas Morgul routes the Modor Battle Pack 25 to 16 Week 7 - Modor Battle Pack defeats Amon Hen 27 to 7 Week 6 - Modor Battle Pack defeats Lothlórien 24 to 14 Week 5 - Lothlórien defeats Prancing Pony 23 to 13 Week 4 - Lothlórien crashes Mount Doom 35 to 5 Week 3 - Mount Doom defeats the Rohan Battle Pack 14 to 11 Week 2 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats the Watcher in the Water 14 to 7 Week 1 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats The Green Dragon 23 to 4. Have a Dream Set to nominate? Do so in this thread. I still have a bunch of sets to go. [Moderators, can you convert this thread into a poll please?] Quote
Deathleech Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) By Fangorn Forest, are we talking about a Treebeard set? I assume yes because otherwise Fangorn Forest would be fairly dull with a bunch of random trees and maybe Merry, Pippin, and a few orcs? Regardless I think I have to go with Minas Morgul again. The minifigure possibilities are too good what with the chance to include the Witch King, Gothmog, and more Orcs or Nazgul. That definitely beats out a possible Treebeard build (especially since the Ent in Orthanc looks close enough to Treebeard). Edited February 25, 2014 by Deathleech Quote
LegoPanda Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 minas morgul for the win, fangorn would indeed probably be just a bunch of trees Quote
Leo604 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Also Minas Morgul, because there's nothing I think I'd really want from a Fangorn set. Quote
Darth Punk Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Minas Morgul. This might end up being the most lopsided vote yet. Quote
Floundie Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I think I'll say Minas Morgul this time. Quote
h22chen Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Might be a flawless victory this time... ... ... Quote
Blakstone Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Might be a flawless victory this time... ... ... Possibly so. I should have had Fanghorn and Gray Havens appear earlier as they lack the appeal to compete with army building. Quote
