Blakstone Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 This is twelfth week of Middle-Earth Madness. Osgiliath is the new champion. If you had to pick only one Dream set, which would it be? Ruins of Osgiliath OR The Golden Hall of Edoras Just like last week, these are dream sets so there is no hard or fast rule on what has to be included in either. Imagine you had a chance to greenlight just one LEGO Lord of the Rings set based on a simple description. Which one would you want? Summary from previous weeks: Week 11 - Ruins of Osgiliath defeats Minas Morgul 25 to 7 Week 10 - Minas Morgul flattens Fangorn Forest 29 to 1 Week 9 - Minas Morgul smashes the Gray Havens 30 to 5 Week 8 - Minas Morgul routes the Modor Battle Pack 25 to 16 Week 7 - Modor Battle Pack defeats Amon Hen 27 to 7 Week 6 - Modor Battle Pack defeats Lothlórien 24 to 14 Week 5 - Lothlórien defeats Prancing Pony 23 to 13 Week 4 - Lothlórien crashes Mount Doom 35 to 5 Week 3 - Mount Doom defeats the Rohan Battle Pack 14 to 11 Week 2 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats the Watcher in the Water 14 to 7 Week 1 - Rohan Battle Pack defeats The Green Dragon 23 to 4. Have a Dream Set to nominate? Do so in this thread. I still have a bunch of sets to go. [Moderators, can you convert this thread into a poll please?] Quote
Hammerhand Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Osgiliath, for the Gondor soldiers. Although I'd love an Edoras with more Rohirim. Quote
Alfadas Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Golden Halls of Edoras for me. Bewitched Theoden, a few Rohan soldiers, a couple of horses, lots of wood colored pieces. Quote
lord raphael Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hall of Edoras and Osgiliath.Very hard choice.Osgiliath for me. Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 We already have everything necessary to build the Golden Hall (parts and minifigs), so I vote Osgiliath. Quote
Godless-Mimicry Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I say Osgiliath, but its bias on my part because I've already designed myself a Meduseld that I'm happy with. Quote
Blakstone Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 Edoras for elderly Theoden, white clad Eowyn, Hama, and a cheaper Grima. Besides I think the build itself would be better than Osgiliath. Quote
Tuinman Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Golden Halls of Edoras for me. Bewitched Theoden, a few Rohan soldiers, a couple of horses, lots of wood colored pieces. Exactly what i was thinking. So my vote goes to Edoras. Quote
krono111 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Golden Halls of Edoras for me. Bewitched Theoden, a few Rohan soldiers, a couple of horses, lots of wood colored pieces. Well, like Tuinmann I think the same thing as you. Edoras! Quote
Steel Tiger Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I have to say osgiliath even though Edoras was a close second. Quote
Brickadiergerard Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Edoras. Such an iconic location in the books and films; so many great MOCs; an official set would be fantastic. Quote
Brickdiction Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Golden Hall of Edoras for me, what a great build it could be. Quote
Yooha Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Golden Halls of Edoras over a bunch of grey bricks yet again. Quote
