June 12, 200717 yr Sorry, but i completely disagree. Time to stop living in the past, and get with the times. These new builings might be big, but there more to scale than anything we've had before. Classic town was nice, but not real enough. As for 4-wide, blah. Just doesn't do it for me anymore. Again, 6 and 8 wide gives more detail, and are more to scale than ever before. I understand that 8-wide might be a bit big for the current streets avaible, but just wait. I'm sure you'll be seeing street plates that are 2 to 3,or even 4-studs widder to acomodate the new vechicles. I for one can't wait! Well that is true but the LEGO road baseplates are now out-of-scale with the vehicles. New vehicles look too big and stupid on them *n*

June 12, 200717 yr Well that is true but the LEGO road baseplates are now out-of-scale with the vehicles. New vehicles look too big and stupid on them *n* Only the 8 wide trucks done fit. Six wide fits no problem. Like i said, with lego trucks getting bigger, i wouldn't be surpised to see road plates that will be big enough to acomodate the new 8 wide trucks! *y*
June 15, 200717 yr I just read on Brick Journal, that the creator of this set, Erik Brok, passed away.

June 15, 200717 yr You can also read it here... :-( That's terribly sad news. I very much hope that Market Street is a big seller - then more of Eric's design may be offically release as sets. I really want a market street set (for my kids of course! well that's what I'm going to have to tell my wife). Bob
