considering the following re-use of faces

Rhino- Clone (clone wars)

Sandman- Elrond

Hank Pym- Gandalf

Scott Lang- Ezra Bridger

YellowJacket- Clone (Empire)

all being Marvel characters makes it more likely maybe they aren't completely done with them.

Don't forget the shield agent who has a head from the Ghostbusters set. Which means that everyone would have old heads making it even more likely.

HulkBuster Pictures are up.

They're not very professional, but I hope it gives you guys a good idea of how this set is going to turn out for when you get your hands on the set.

Overall, a great set for price. Great minifigs, great build, it's awesome. Only complaint is that the HulkBuster is way out of scale, but he is in the same scale range as Groot. So, maybe you guys can have him fight Groot if you want

Thanks! Those look great!

He is very on scale, he is bigger than hulk in the movie, like 2 times his size

if you looks at this picture, you can see that apart from the macro bricks, there's also regular-sized 1x2 yellow plate and 1x1 red brick. Together with the regular blue ants, I think this is pointing to an inlucison of micro-figures in the final set, what do you think?

I am hopeful that you are right it would be really fun if you got the whole set in a mini size included.

Umm... Hank Pym is on the box...

And the idea of micro figures was only a possibility... they said they would sort out the size issue... and it seems they've done that by making everything else larger.

Well, since the ant and the bricks appear in both sizes, I guess there's fair chance to get them, especially having on mind their appearance in the Helicarrier.

He meant there's no image of him in the actual set picture, only on the mini figure section. This implies that he won't be in the scene but will be elsewhere in the film so they put it in the set anyway.

Also I theorised that the micro figures could still be in the set because of the addition of the small versions of the yellow and red pieces and the ants a couple pages back.

That's what I meant. Still, it's weird they didn't put him in the action in the picture.

Sorry, didn't notice. Nice to see I'm not the only one.

Okay, for all of you that see an issue with all the re-use of faces. specially the Ant Man set. They might not be completely finished with the details. Some of the sets have a final design look in the boxes but still lack some parts of the sets. If you guys remember when the first Avengers sets came out they had certain parts finished. With the designs for the torsos and everything but they still used old faces.

The micro figures and new faces can still make the set.

Hope you're right, you have a point here!

I think you are 100% right. I also think that because we don't see any micro figures here and those need special printing to do, this also lends itself to the theory that the heads aren't fully completed either. One other thing that I noticed is that Carnage has arm print which is really awesome considering the only other character that has gotten it from the Marvel line is Drax. However, it also makes me kind of upset because if they were able to give a $11.99 set arm printing, then why couldn't some of the Avengers of Ant-Man characters get it?

Their choice of which figures will have the arm and leg printing is something I will never understand.

Well microfigures are out of place in a way as they have designed the set, with there being usual sized Lego objects included to represent everything they made Ant-Man scale.

So unless we get a $12 Ant-man set I don't see us getting the Micro-fig which is a great pity

Again, there are two bricks and the ant in two sizes. Why not make the same with the figures, especially when they started to print the micro-figure trophies?

I am hopeful that you are right it would be really fun if you got the whole set in a mini size included.

I know! I was thinking about it and if they include the micro-figures (and change the faces...), it will be the most genuine and funny Marvel set of all times, at least for me.

Also, I was wondering why there are two small ants and I'm fairly convinced the second is spare. Now let's take a look at the set: we've got two large bricks and two small bricks, a large ant plus a small ant, only thing missing in two variants is the screw. So that must mean micro-figures! :excited:

We should start a new discussion concerning on how to mod the hulkbuster to be more to scale, preferably only using parts from the set or some select others, if anyone already has a modded hulkbuster then please post it here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=105899

Not really, he is maybe two heads taller than the hulk, but no more than that.

It would be a little different if the Hulk was standing straight legged, too.

Yeah, I was the one who said that... I just didn't bother to put it cause the shield agent might be generic (so no special face... like policemen, civilians, of things like that... Tho I guess to a point it could also be the case)

There is a space trans yellow stud too so looks like space are on show so I think you are right about the ant being spare.

I absolutely love the Ant-Man set! Using oversized bricks, screws, and an ant as set pieces and including regular sized versions of those bricks and ants in the set is brilliant! Plus the minifigs all look great! The only thing that would make it perfect is, as many have said, if they include trophyfigs of the minifigs as well, so I hope the final set includes them.

The Spidey sets are very good too. All the figs in the Carnage set are perfect and the vehicle looks cool too. I especially like how they made the rotors. By far the best small Marvel set to date. Green Goblin looks very nice too, although his glider and the rest of that set is kind of crap. I mean, since when does Spidey have a hideout? The Sandman/Rhino set is also very good, although they messed up Iron Spider by giving him that black backpack and I'm not too happy that Rhino is based on the ASM2 version. Sandman looks great, though, and I'm so happy that Spidey finally gets boot printing, and all around his legs too! I wish they would have included these legs in the Juniors set too so that I could use them for Superman.

Judging via Lego heads;

- a normal figure is 4 heads

- The hulk is 7 heads

As such a Hulkbuster should be around 10 heads in height in order to be the right scale.

As shown by this image the body is only slightly larger (5 heads) than Iron Man who is represented by a normal figure (4 heads)

And I'm also annoyed that Lego uses the helmet from the animated show and not from the movie for Ant-Man.Still it's a nice set might just buy it.But ofcource the Carnage set is an insta-buy!!

The helmet's the same as the one in the movie...

Where are Meijers? Are they in the US? Because I called both TRU and Target and bot said that none of their stores in the US even received the sets yet. But that could be the guy on the phone being, well, that guy on the phone that doesn't exactly...yeah.

They're on the West Coast.

Nope.

Meijer stores are located in Michigan (their headquarters), Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and I hear that they're opening stores in Wisconsin this year.

Which Meijers stores have these been found? I have 4 Meijer stores within 45 minutes of me.
