Peppermint_M Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Three skaters (or emo kids) in their natural habitat. It is a rare occasion to find empty steps in a town center! 1/16, 2/16, 3/16, 4/16, 5/16, 6/16, 7/16, 8/16, 9/16, 10/16, 11/16, 12/16. Quote
prateek Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Awesome! This looks really natural; it looks like you chopped this scene out from a bigger park MOC Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Excellent. Really nice job on this scene. You're almost there! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 28, 2010 Author Posted May 28, 2010 Great sidewalkeage! I took extra effort on the pavement, what with my job related knowledge. I was half tempted to just leave it studded but I thought better of it when I found a cache of light bley tiles. I did have to use minor amounts of blutack to keep the two skaters in place. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 28, 2010 Author Posted May 28, 2010 Sssh! Don't spoil the illusion! Also, 19 bigs? Blech, Typos. I use the number pad and 9 is right above 6. Earlier this evening I was having laptop issues (no power from cable, thus batteries only...) So I wanted to get this posted to keep on schedule (so close I do not want to let it slip) and must have missed it. I'll fix it now... In good news rage at the cable seems to have worked and I have my next post ready to go from any computer (USB memory stick for the win) so I will succeed in this task! Quote
the_truth Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 how refreshing you did not go for the most obvious solution, and place some Bley plates onto a 16x16 baseplate, before randomly placing your characters, photographing it and uploading your creation to become a small part of EuroBricks history. Bravo. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 TOTALLY RAD ! Three dudes - all dressed by the same mom ! AWESOME pavement and steps 'Peppermint_M' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
legitimatealex Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 With that hair they're totally emo kids. Quote
jonwil Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Great job, cant wait to see what you do with the Magician (the hardest one to use in multiples) Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 29, 2010 Author Posted May 29, 2010 Great job, cant wait to see what you do with the Magician (the hardest one to use in multiples) That'll be the last to be posted. It is, as was suggested, saving the best 'til last. Come Monday all will be revealed! Quote
Wout Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Three skaters (or emo kids) in their natural habitat. It is a rare occasion to find empty steps in a town center! Are Emo kids happy enough to go skateboading? After all a nice moc. Quote
