SkaForHire Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Hello travelers who could not stand the sight of blood and / or ran out of dinars at the fighting pit in Mophet, I am glad you joined us for some additional sightseeing today. archmappost by skaforhire, on Flickr Just a half day’s ride outside of the small city of Mophet is the Arkbri River. For over 5,000 years there have been settlements on this river. Many of those settlements have been long abandoned and swallowed by the earth. It is the job of Archeologists from the University of Pretraea to dig up the remains and study them. Archpost by skaforhire, on Flickr DSC_2861 by skaforhire, on Flickr No one likes sifting through dirt! soccerkid6 Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 The description is great The workers and their tools are excellent (nice sieve )and the ancient ruins look impressive. I love how Professor Nightman is observing the goings on with his telescope Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Nice little build, the sifter is a great idea and the professor looking down with his telescope is very funny! Quote
de Gothia Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Great idea! The figs looks great as well as their posings! The border with the bright red/blue pattern distract´s my eyes though. But still a great moc! Quote
Str0ngbad Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Great idea for the tour! I want badly to go to a dig site someday myself. I like the recurring theme of white with splashes of vibrant color for Kaliphlins ancient architecture. Also, your use of the ski pole was particularly creative. Quote
Gideon Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Excellent idea with a dig! I had a feeling already back when I built my Arkbri riverside for ch VI that the Arkbri Valley were hiding exciting archaeological sites I would love to visit the museum in Petraea and see all those artifacts! Nice minifig posing also. Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Very original! Love the idea, especially the guy sifting and not enjoying it. Quote
robuko Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Excellent build. The sieve is really nicely done. The ancient villa is highly intriguing, I wonder if any of these survive intact..... Quote
Wedge09 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Great build  I really liked the quote from Indiana Jones Quote
Erynlasgalen Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Very creative build, I really like what they are uncovering so far. My favorite part though is the poor little dirt shifter, everyone else looks like that are having a great time without him Quote
Maxim I Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Hahaha, this is a really funny and clever MOC!! And amazingly executed! Quote
