Well, yes, but don't forget that you still have the choice. Collecting is nice but think that today temptation is everywhere. I have a hard time to resist to a lot of things... I almost bought a UCS yoda just because it was cheap and my girlfriend had to open my eyes : "look at it, it looks like shit ! And what will its use be ? collecting the dust ?" And I thought : she's right, if it's just about getting them all, then I'm just a weak guy. So stand up and resist ! (oh, god, i have not to buy an isd, how hard !)

Yeah... Long story... Actually I'm from France... I was browsing fbtb without posting anything like usual (I didn't want to because nobody ever replyed to my posts) and I thougt "damn they have only american news, nobody is taking care of european AFOLs here." Well in fact nobody was taking care of non US AFOL there, but nonafolusbricks was bad. Well anyway, one day DoubleT posted because he thought it could be cool to have a european site. I replyed I was in because I know how to programm and have few knowledge about management and advertising (I'm studying business) so we started like this and because I was REALLY fed up with a website I won't name but which just plainly deserves the problems it has actually to face. A third guy from Polland helped us at first but disappeared I dunno why. He helped us a lot at first with the graphics (sometimes he briefly shows up on the forum and disappears... One of the Eurobricks legends). When it came to choose a name, we decided to go for Eurobrick. but because Eurobrick has been bought by some italian company, we added an s and went on with this cool name. Euro for Europe, Bricks for bricks. Dumb, clear, simple, perfect... I will allow you not to hear the rest of the story...

I find this sad in some ways... But I could never belong to a lego club since there is none in france. Hope you will pass through it joeroy. We will try our best here to become a good substitute for ya ;)

I'm just so impressed bu the fact that lego is keeping everything under secret. It's sooooo megablock. As studying business I know for a fact that all the Xmas material are starting to be produced now. So it means all the sets, including some vikking guys are akreay made (since they come before Xmas). So why keeping everything secret like this ? Same, we are happy to know about sets, but the designer already know hat they will do in 2006 so who really cares again ?

They are run by the same KIND of people. I studied with them during my scholariship, so believe me, it shouldn't stop to happen before a long long time (and next generation is even worst). Some of them are just pure genious, some other are juste pure craps. There's nothing inbetween

Well basically it tooks us two days, mainly because it was christmas. The website was back in two days and the forum in 4 if I remember correctly. Well we also made a skin Xmas. Since St valentine is approaching, i hope w ecan make something nice :-D I think they didn't made any backup since Tim left :/ I am still disappointed by the skin. From what I anderstood it is Denise who is mainly taking care of the forum, pretty weird *wacko*

Oki, i discovered the forum adress by myself (oh god, how hard it was :-D ) and it is a phpBB with a special skin :( It is nice but I would have expected something more legoish or starwarsish at least :/ now I'm just curious to see the sections they'll put in it :f)
