I am so not into its design 8-| I always pictured the effeil tower differently, as something smooth, which isn't that rendered here :'-( Or maybe it just looks different in real :-/ Is there a way to make it MF sized though ?

I read everywhere in this thread that the new characters look realistic. Are you blind people ? Those CGI will be so outdated in 6 months... And I'm not a transformer fan at all. As for the pictures shown they don't appeal to me. A good robot needs some large plates on it. Here all the parts are small, making it, well... Weird. Let's face it, when it comes to cool looking robots, Japanese people are the best. And we're clearly far away from those standards. I have to agree with Jinzo and Vad, this movie will be something you'll find on dvd for 1 buck in a one year laptime.

Clear contradiction from TLC (again). 5 years from now, everyone there would have sworn TLC would NEVER EVER release guns cause they were too violent. Now the batman line introduced realistic guns, soon to be followed by SW. Up to that point, I was the happiest man on earth. But unfortunatly, free violence and a little Alien genocide isn't that surprising next. They couldn't resist crossing the line. Too temptating probably. How great it is to realise that TLC is moving to massive fights between people and races. Humans vs robots Humans vs aliens Humans vs humans Massive shooting mechanism, huge guns. No possibility whatsoever to do something else than a killing machine. Whoohoo ! fearing things you don't know about is a common reaction among our societies, I just wish TLC to be over it, and trying to educate kids a bit (or at least giving an alternative).

Yeah I second that, I don't even know how you manage to sleep knowing you are missing those two X-D

Admiral Bernek once requested the mecanicians of the earth Armada to build a fighter especially for him. Since everyone in the army truely hated this man, the designers went for a bulky fighter, with a lame na me : the thunder turtel. The particularity of the fighter is that the weaponery is located at the back of the ship, making it hard to hit anything. Only years later was discovered the fact that this has been done on purpose, everyone hoping for Bernek to die during a fight. The idea originaly comes from those aquanauts domes that I saw lying around when I was in search for some inspiration this afternoon. I decided to go on with a turtuel design. So here is the thing : It features one main cockpit, and a compartment at the back, featuring a seat to fire the rear artillery. This is the cockpit. Nothing to mention beside the particular building technic that was requiered to hang those things around the pilot. Cockpit with Captain Jipay flying. Now the front view of the ship. As you can see, a lots of transblue used in there. The fighter fully opens, including its main body to reveal the empty decorated interior (no time |-/ ) Now the rear view of the ship, introducing a grand new way of attaching engines to a ship. Now to the best part of any fighter : the guns. here there are only 2 of them, ut they are closer to an artillery. They can move up and down, classic design. That's all folks X-D I hope you're enjoying the thing ! After all this contest is about being original right ? :-P

Wezll I can't blame mr Lucas, he probably thought it was better to wait until I'm a fully grown director, and then lemme do the job. Or not I can't say I'm disappointed. I'm just so fed up with SW, I wouldn't be able to watch one minute of it again. Heck I didn't even buy episode 3 on dvd. And let's face it, there are some great TV series outside, with some real humour, like SG or atlantis among others, so the standard is set high. I definitly GL should move on something else.

I do hope prices wil lower soon for every theme. Like they did for pirates and space, once every AFOL geek had his collection full and don't even know what to do with their sets anymore, they'll stop buying. Some will eventually even ressell the sets they're not using. We just have to be patient. As for WW and adventurer, that is a real concern, especially since they're not themes likely to be re released by TLC.

I think people should be allowed to do what they want with their money, especially if it has no negative impact on other's lives. I can't understand why you're doing this though lol

Yeah, and after that averyone will accuse him once again of copying others... I like this little thing actually, very cool idea. The torso design is really neat, my only advice would be to turn the mace's stick in brown. Other than this, just great :-)

Same for me : they take much space, pollute the world and add to the cost of the set. They have an absolute zero value to me.

I'm in. I like suckers comments like the one you red on CS Snefroe. I think it's just cause they only know how to make one type of ships using SNOT everywhere.

I'm not impressed either. Looks like something anyone could build :-/ plus it looks kinda fragile. I like the canons and the engiens though, so it might be the global shape that doesn't appeal me that much
