  1. Why go with 32 x 32 when a standard baseplate is 48 x 48 ?
  2. A Star Wars Universe standard when it comes to modular building on 48 x 48 baseplates sounds awesome. Keep posting your thoughts people and I'll sum it all up in a few days and try to make a single and comprehensive topic for us to gather ideas for such a thing. I have a few thoughts already. Are we talking bases? as in Endor Bunkers, random planet bases and such? If so, then are they to be raised - as the moonbase standard? How wide do we want the corridors, or is that not to be restricted? What's the requirements/standards for adjoining modules - how do they connect? Just a few thoughts.
  3. Yeah right...
  4. Roger that. I'll move it there for you. Nice and boxy - somehow it strikes me a clinical science fiction. Something like Gattaca or iRobot.
  5. Allow me to be a little rude ROFL!!!1! A petition? When was the last time you guys saw a petition turn into something that actually happened? We don't really have that in Denmark and I'm fairly sure petitions aren't part of the way TLG works. Go ahead and sign it people, but my bet is that if you really want TLG to reintroduce a ninja line. Then you have to show them that it can be great and cool. Build MOCs - build MOCs that resemble sets TLG could produce and then bring all of it to LEGOWorld, Brickfair and whatever con or event you can attend where employees from TLG are present. Show them that kids think ninjas are awesome - don't sign a petition. A petition is nothing, money and customer demand is everything. TLG isn't a democracy, just like EB isn't one either. Best of luck though, personally I'd love to have the ninja theme reintroduced.
  6. Beat you at the finish line...

  10. You're thinking something like the classic-space.com moonbase standards? (pictures borrowed from classic-space.com) The Eurobricks Star Wars Community Build is a modular build with a standard. The modules are all part of the interior of a Venator, but I wouldn't say it's exactly the same. The Moonbase-standard is great for meeting at events and then joining all the modules each person brings along. Putting all the Venator modules together wouldn't make a Venator - I like the project though Perhaps we should make a standard for Star Wars Moonbase modules? We could use the great standard from classic-space.com and then tweak it a bit? Perhaps have different colours for different fractions? Tan for Sandpeople (yes I know they live in huts, but a Sanpeople Moonbase people!? ) White/black for the Empire Tan/white/red for Rebels Or something like that? We could make the corridors wider and taller? It's all up to you guys. Personally I think it'd be awesome to have EB Star Wars Moonbase modules at different events and cons around the world.
  11. What's AT&T? No wait, can it really be that AT&T is a US company? Does that mean your post is fixated at this site being a US site or do you think we haven't got phones in the rest of the world? The iPhone has great network connections here... Please people - if you really have to discuss something this irrelevant, let's at least let everyone with access to Eurobricks get a chance to "play" (I've got an old Ericsson and it works just fine)
  12. Enlighten me, what does FBTB has to do with Eurobricks? Such a move as removing all under 18 would have an effect - we'd be fewer active members. What's your point there? Good or bad effect? Loss of quality? Site turning into a ghost town? All actions result in effects- it's given. What's that question again? What do you mean exceptions? Exceptions to the standard? Which standard? I'm not a native speaker of English and your phrase "exceptions to the standard" has got me a little puzzled.
  13. Okieli-dokeli-doo
  14. Roger Roger!!
  15. So now you're saying you don't want to come to the event? This is very confusing. Thank gawd you've got a mother to keep that teenage mind from bouncing against the walls
  16. The Hoth Rebel in the 4500 Snowspeeder has got white hips and ligh bluish gray legs. The picture shown on BL as the set is a prelim picture prior to the final box which is this one: Even the blue-box version shows the wrong minifig:
