Of course it has to be Star Wars... Be that canon or a made up battle pack. Yes Yes, you may photoshop to some extent. Using sharpie is considered customizing the figs, so that would be a yes.

"Design the Battle Pack of your dreams!" Rules Of Entry: 4 Minifigs - brickbuilt minifigs counts a minifig (no more, no less). 50-70 Parts (minifigs not included). Custom minifigs and accessories allowed (Brickforge, Brickarms and so forth). No clone brand parts (megablocks, blocko and so forth). No baseplates (or large parts like BURP). S@H-like Description (check the descriptions on shop.lego.com for inspiration). Own motivation for creating set (why these figs and accessories?). Max 5 pictures from different angles - One of which should be a box diplay/image. Please include a link to off-site folder with more pics or higher resolution pictures (optional). Max picture resolution is 800x600. No large parts - it's a Battle Pack and should resemble existing BP's in size and contents. Only one entry per member. 'Real' entries only - no digital entries. Entry has to be a new MOC. Contest ends on Wednesday 30th of September at 2100 CET. Entries posted after the deadline are disqualified. Entries that doesn't live up to the rules after the deadline are disqualified. All entries will be indexed - this does not mean they are qualified or 'good' enough. In the week up to the deadline all entries will be looked over and requirements to comply with the rules will be posted in the entry's topic. All entries are considered WIP's (work in progress). An entry can be changed as many times as the poster wishes before the deadline. Indeed. Let's slow it down here guys. Some of you are moving in circles, repeating what's just been said. We've seen the ripped pics by now, so cool down please "Stay on Target!"

It's a start, but as other mentioned, you need to 'greeble' it and it needs a lo of work i my opinion. You've got a 'base' size and now the challenge arises - to modify it into an awesome ship. For example look at this: Here you can see a lot of effort in adding greeble and design to the ship. You need to do the same to yours. You might even consider wether or not to have the ship's hull made of bricks rather than plates. The bricks make the hull wide and enhance the 'b' in bulky. Also where's the engine? What drives this baby?

Maybe this wouldn't have happened if you either closed the door to your room or chose not to leave precious lego lying all over the floor?

Seeing how you guys have gone nuts over the "Quest for R2D2" I was thinking of making a commercial index of the commercials on LEGO Star Wars. How does that sound?

Let see if this fine picture by menq can't show how horrible the mix of China & Danish parts is: The torso and legs are Chinese and the headgear is Danish. Pretty ugly, eh? Especially when compared to the right version which is the original minifig from regular Star Wars sets.

Grievous: I sure hope we'll get a new General Grievous. Getting him with ball-joints will be awesome. It would also be great if the arms were split in two with a rubber connection a lá the rubber used in the last Exo-Force wave. - Though I doubt we'll get such an elaborate minifig ever. Malevolence: Getting that ship would be awesome. It just looks like it's almost the same size as the Venator and isn't that a little too large for a set with Grievous?
