  1. Especially after seeing this, I am seriously considering getting more of these. A hilarious use
  2. Today is my day off from work and since the appartment above me was having the electricity installations fixed (= no power between 8 and 12), I decided to go looking for good deals on LEGO. I entered my local LEGO pusher's store and started moving around boxes of LEGO. Nothing there... As I was leaving the store the clerk asked me if I was looking for something special. Me: "Power Miners!" Clerk: "Huh?" Me: "The new January theme" (I wasn't looking, I don't even like PM) Clerk: "I think we've gotten a parcel from LEGO today, please wait" Me: "Ok" (Arw nuts, now I have to buy one of those lime sets) Clerk leaves for the manager's office and returns in 3 minutes Clerk: "No sets until January, the boss told me to give you this, we're not supposed to hand them out yet. But she said you're a regular" Me: "Wow, thanks and bye" Clerk: "Mmm" (giving me the "what-the-....-a-grown-up-who-plays-with-LEGO"-look) And this is what I got: A neat little lime polybag. But that's not all, I was also given this fine little comic with pics and explanation of the sets: Now that we've all seen that, let's get to the polybag: Not much to say about it. It's kinda limish and the back simply states that the theme is up for sale in January. Now what's inside this nifty little thing?: A bag within the bag?! Ahh Sulfurix the trans neon crystal eater. Perhaps I should reconsider buying the sets from this new theme... Might as well, since Exo-Force is gone for good The entire gallery in High-Res can be found here when public.
  3. Agreed. A well executed customization. I'll move this to the Workshop for all our customizers to see.
  4. And now we're all kidnapped?! What the hey is going on here? And what's up with the pig? Why is it rubbing it's belly against those flowers?
  5. Oh, but they do:
  6. Great mini. Stunning, Smooth and Simple. Just the way a mini is supposed to be.
  7. I think you've misunderstood me. I merely stated that it would have been a better (and more adult) move to actually contact the staff before posting something that you obviously knew was wrong. I am well aware that most members are adults, but that doesn't change the fact that we had to enforce some rules concerning the BST-forum. Members joined just to sell, members joined to con people into paying money for nothing. So claiming that our rules are cumbersome and rude is unfair and uncalled for. We never ever force our members to use that particular forum and do feel free to use other on-line buy/sell sites like eBay and Bricklink. I even moved this topic for you to the proper forum... Are you just looking for a discussion? Wouldn't it be better to get back on the topic you proposed in the first post?
  8. Must be...and hey it's even in the proper forum. The Minifig Customization Workshop. And that's where this is going as well.
  9. It means this.
  10. And? A dropship, so what? Now stop posting wishes in this topic. Thank you
  11. Why not what? For sets you'd like to see come into production I suggest going to the other pinned topic on that. This is the rumor topic for the upcoming sets. Stay on target!
  12. Always good to have the regulator around. When in doubt on which set belong to which theme, then just check the Review Index for reference. It's year and theme accurate.
  13. Me too. Or vice versa. That the new cow would look like the (new) horse.
  14. Which is odd, since the box depicts 7 minifigs. 1 x Clone Trooper 1 x Yoda CW 2 x Battle Droids 3 x Super Battle Droids Now who's wrong? The box or the seller on eBay? (rhetorical question)
  15. The new cow mold compared to the horse is "off". For the cows and horses to go together I think we need a new horse with articulated muscles like the cow has. Either that or they have to change the cow into a more classic look like the horse.
  16. So you're not allowed to post this where it belongs and therefore you went and posted it in the wrong forum. That's not how it works and it kinda makes me upset, that you think you're above site rules. I'll be watching you and this is moved to the proper forum. You could have asked an admin or moderator to create this topic for you instead.
  17. You misunderstood it. There will be Castle in 2010. Fewer sets than normal in 2009, but back to regular amount in 2010. Perhaps and if so, then it's great news that they'll cut back on set quantity next year and up it again in 2010.
  18. Don't worry CopMike can take a joke anytime. Let's see how your moms reaction is when the joke's on you and there's cops at the door looking for a juvenile drugdealer with your name
  19. Yes the stamps on the letters are Swedish. Does that answer suffice? So no sadly I didn't find this in Denmark.
  20. Ahem! I will answer this in the proper topic
  21. Since that has now been answered, I'd like to remind everyone that this is a review topic on 8017 Vader's Tie. The question on the fig was called for, but please remember to ask questions on the Chrome Vader in the dedicated topic. I've gotten mine today and as Dennimator says, it's metallic silver. Chrome ON!
  22. Good to hear that you've overcome the submission problems. I am sure a lot of members will submit awesome MOCs. Good luck to all.
  23. Then it is as we feared. TLG has downsized Castle this year and they'll keep some of the 2007/2008 sets in production. Ah well, 6 sets including the 10193 is still a good harvest for one season. I am sure they'll pay us back plenty in 2010.
  24. Mine arrived in the mail today. And I must admit that it's a thing of beauty It's as wonderful as it is ugly. The chrome looks... ... ... well, just odd somehow, but it adds that special thing that makes it all add up. I contemplated wether to open the polybag or not and in the end it all came down to this: Pro: If I open the bag, I can pet it and look with my fingers Con: If I open the bag, then it wont be MISB and the collecting value is "broken" After 2 or 3 seconds of speculation, I carefully opened the side of the polybag with a scissor. Thinking: "How hard can it be to get another one to keep MISB?" Thanks to you who sent it to me
  25. Voted for number 2 - the black and blue barding. Why? Simply because I'm sentimental when it comes to Castle. This great barding was in my beloved Castle that I got for Christmas when I was waaaay younger than now.
