  1. Welcome to Eurobricks
  2. Hi Richie. Welcome to Eurobricks
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks gladiator. Always good to have another AFOL around.
  4. Oh my how could I miss this one. Welcome Rayman. Glad to have you around and thanks for the sticker topic
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks eti. Thanks for the pictorial trip you gave us the other day Glad to have you on board
  6. Mmmm Going through my parts I often stumble upon road signs and trees. It is as if I was given plenty of those for birthdays and christmas back then. A neccesity when building up your town and for once the signs are the same as the ones used here in DK. TLG has a sad tendence to copy Germany when designing sets. (just because it's the biggest market in Europe)
  7. A great little set. I got me two of these by accident when I intended to collect Pirates and won quite a few auctions on eBay. An accident that I am now happy about. It's a great accesory set. Thanks for the scary review
  8. Agreed. Pre and post pictures would be great
  9. Wow nice find. That's an amazing MOC. I wish he'd make instructions for that thing of beauty
  10. Hmm. Your link is defect. Could you please fix it? EDIT: You intended this as the link?
  11. After having a little pm conversation I've been persusaded to reopen this topic. I'll watch it though. Topic reopened
  12. Yeah they could be earth orange when looking at that specific picture. I guess we'll just have wait and see
  13. Bricklink has one stating 795 bricks and 3 minifigs. Bricklink Catalog on 4999 Thanks for the review Lasse D. A great set, but wastly overpriced in my opinion. It's just 795 pieces and a motor. I'd rather buy me 3 Motorized AT-AT's instead of this.
  14. What a nice way to ensure that I'll close this before it even became interesting.
  15. We've decided to keep new members from posting there because we had loads of people joining just to sell stuff. This is certainly great info. I'll move this topic to the Buy/Sell/Trade and Finds forum. Thanks for letting us know.
  16. Hmm they could be reddish-brown. You might be right - if so I have no option but to call the bounty hunters... Sorry about that
  17. Time is not of the essence. There's no time limit to completing the Reviewers Academy. Rethink it and join - there's a lot to be learned in there. There's not even a catch included. If you join and decided that it's not for you - then you can freely leave and come back another time. You're not going to get banned or anything crazy like that.
  18. Nice spotting. I think we've discussed this before and the answer we came up with was that yes, they're commandos. The pics you've added are preliminary pictures and might be liable to change, though I sadly think they wont. Those pesky dark red droids are what we're getting. @as for moving this to the 2009 thread, I'll do that later today.
  19. Nicely done. I like the comic way this looks. Why the title: "Ambush"? Not much ambushing going on, is there? Also I don't get why the fight has to end with everybody dying, except for one. A comic is nearly always made to "be continued" and killing everyone off isn't really that comic-like. Adding more story and talk would do your work good. Though I must admit that you've designed the fight very well, often it gets messy and you've got no clue as to what's happening. That doesn't happen here. You've managed to keep the fight "clean" and that's very difficult to do. Keep it up
  20. That's a hard one. I really like quite a few of them. I bet most people will pick the RGS or the AT-TE. They're massive sets, but I think they lack too much interior design. And since they're remakes I had actually expected a little more design and features since the last time around. The real Clone Wars fight is between the V19 Torrent and Republic Fighter Tank. Great sets with a great design and colourscheme. I think I'll vote for the V-19 and it's awesome wing design. Good call making a poll like this and including the "what have you bought so far" is great. Nice way to round up this year's release of Clone Wars sets
  21. The original? Which do you mean:
  22. Happy Birthday. Just 32...what the *(%& do you mean? I'm 32 and it's a great age, except that my bones ache and my hair's getting grey faster now. Anyways I hope you'll have a blast of a day
  23. I've heard of this before. When TLG's production line is out of stock of a particular brick they replace it with a similar brick - knowing that we'll call them later and ask for the intended brick. It's cheaper to add a wrong (useable) brick than stop the packing of a certain set. So I normally (the few times this has happened to me) call LEGO Direct and tell them that I've gotten a wrong piece. This they're usually aware of (perhaps they've been warned) and I get the new intended brick within long. So just call them to get the red door.
  24. So instead you decided to bump the topic? Sheeesh C'mon stop the humpin' bumpin'
