Welcome to Eurobricks. Have a look around. Settle in. and then show us pics of that minifig conversion of a model team set KimT

What do You mean, twice?? The Tie Interceptor is one of the best ties that have been made so far. Though You're pushing it when doing a review that has already been done by a precious member of this site Fine review for a great set. KimT

Thanks for another great review. I remember getting a few V-Wings cheaper because the boxes had been crushed on their way to the store. Not an "all-that" set, but still a fine parts pack with a decent design. KimT

Thanks for a super review. The B-Wing (rerelease) and the older B-Wing are some of my favourite rebel fighters. Keep up the great work Valentin It's also a nice setup You've got there. KimT

Sorry couldn't wait for the gallery to become public, so I've deeplinked all pics. This way You'll get comments on details as well. I like it The use of SNOT really adds a great smothness to it. Also great use of minifig heads and nice design of weapons. You might consider replacing the 1x6 tiles with 2x2 and 1x2 tiles instead. The long ones have a tendency to make it look a little like a white painted wooden floor. Using different tiles will "ruff" it up a bit IMO. KimT

Great little MOC set You've done there. One thing puzzles me though, why is it "Ghost Train Moonshine Still" instead of "Grave Stone Moonshine Still"? Nevertheless it's a fits the gloom and horror mood awesomely KimT
-
I agree that we need more dwarf sets. But I'd still buy this KimT
-
Nicely done. I've never tried to do any box inspiration build - but now I'd consider it. Where did I put my boxes? oh I didn't....next set then KimT
-
??? huh What do You mean? Please explain. KimT

"Keep your coins safe with LEGO® Castle! This fun and authentic LEGO Castle coin bank is just the thing to keep your loose change safe. Spin the handle and a fierce dragon pops out to retrieve your coins and guard them until you need them! " KimT

Mkay You asked for it: Thor Odin Loke Frigg Balder Tyr and then there's the big bad wolf (literally) Fenrir. There's plenty more...I just can't remember them right now KimT
-
And thanks again for more pics. I guess I'll have to clean up the first post soon and just keep the best pics for each set. KimT
-
Since it's a MOC being commented on I see no problem there. A MOC, MOD, diorama, vignette+ or review topic never expire. Reviving a MOC topic like this might inspire members to build something similar. KimT

Wilkommen bei Eurobricks Tobias. (I hope I did it right) Don't You worry about Your English, that'll get better in no time. Just post on and if we don't understand, we'll ask You to explain it again and again and again KimT noch ein SW-fan, danke!

Actually I've got an "extra" king, queen and wizard...but it looked akward adding them to the pic. I hope to post The Skeleton Army and The Orcish Horde tomorrow. KimT

Looks like it's a piggy bank for saving Your money. This time is done in the Castle theme. There is a cache link, but it doesn't seem like it's up and running yet. The classic piggy bank looks like this: KimT

Thanks Rancor.erhm... Raptor Some of the pics are already in the list, but I'll be sure to add those not there. Keep up the good work. KimT

LEGO officially calls Troll warriors "Orcs"!
KimT replied to astoriabluelegos's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It doesn't really matter does it? In Denmark we have no word for ogre. Thus Shrek became a troll. Same thing goes for many other fantasy/folklore creatures and beasts. In fantasy games the term is also a bit different depending on the game or setting. Some have goblins, orcs and trolls - some mix them up and add cave trolls for bigger beasts. The trolls in Willow aren't bigger than a normal man, but seriously hairy like a chimpanse. So it's all up to Your local folklore to decide what is what. Personally I call the bigger ones (the ship drummer) trolls and the smaller pesky green ones for orcs. (which JRR Tolkien wouldn't call them since they're green and not black like his orcs) KimT [crossing fingers for non-elves perhaps merry men] -
I wouldn't go as far as calling you dumb. But it's always a good thing to read the first post for infos. If something changes it will most likely be edited into the first post in a thread. KimT Maybe You should read the rules: 4. You are allowed to have 1 stud maximum of material hanging off each side of the base. This does not mean you can build a 10x10 base overtop of your standard base. Mr Smartypants KimT

At the Event someone asked me how big my army in the new Castle theme is... Quickly I gave an estimate. After coming home I've thought about it and now it's become an obsession to find out excatly how many Crown soldiers, Undead soldiers, Orcs, Trolls and dwarves I have.. Therefore without further I ado, I present: KimT's Crown army: (other fractions will be added later)

There is for example Jylland (Jutland) a frigate that still exists. That could be a possibility Also a Danish frigate was named Freja after the Norse gods KimT
