Here's an example of parts weight calculation.
It's from a review that I never finished:
I know I calculated the Landspeeder for comparison, but the numbers have been lost.
I actually think the price to parts ratio is the wrong way to calculate.
We need to go price to weight instead.
With all the greeble in newer sets, it's just not right to count a 1x1 round plate as a 2x4 brick - when considering the amount of plastic used.
Get your scales and get working people
Do what?
Allow the Free Market and thus the competition that follows?
LEGO is double the US price in the EU.
I welcome this competition and loss of patent.
LEGO's quality has already been slipping the past few years and I think it's more a question of the Chinese factory using poorer plastic and the fact that TLG is testing out new plastic mixes.
It's been years since ABS was LEGO's only plastic.
Free Market ON! Now we just need the EU to skip the toll wall around Europe and open the borders for international trade.
Lower prices
No worries.
If you ever make a topic that belongs somewhere else by mistake - I'll merge that topic to where it belongs.
But hey, let's let the moderators be the judges of such matters
This is a good question and we've seen lots of questions on Leia's smooth hair, so this one stays.
Much easier for the search engine to find this way.
You've done nothing wrong.
What about the bombing of the London subway or what about Spain or ... or ... or ...
Meh!
On Eurobricks we keep away from political and religious stuff - this is one of those things.
I'd rather not have topics to remember all those bad things that has happened all over the world in the past years.
This is shutdown.
Let me know if you need a visit now and then.
Billund isn't that big and if you ever need to check out Copenhagen or such, let me know and I'll hook you up with a free bed for the night.
Congrats on getting the job you've been hunting for so long
Mothland?!

Guys, you're talking about nothing.
This is the picture and rumor topic, not the wishlist.
Please post only more or less confirmed rumors here.
If there's something you're wanting badly, then please discuss it in the "Future Star Wars Sets"-topic.
This is going off-topic too often and you guys yag away as if this is a chat.
Slow down and post only relevant stuff please.
"Stay on Target!"
Why?
Who ever said that all questions are to be asked there?
This question could be put in "Vader's Red Helmet" if any topic.
Stand down.
Let's leaving the modding to the staff please.
No no, please behave and be friendly.
We cannot expect people to read every single post in this topic and eventhough some links and answers can be found a few pages back, how about just reposting the link with a smile, instead of using a post to slap their faces?
(rhetorical question)
Be good and helpful - control your own actions and let people control their own.
We ARE a friendly community and should act as such please.
"Stay on Target!"
That would be awesome.
If we do get an Advent Calendar I think it'll be like the Brickmaster Book.
A few figs and micro scaled ships.
What else could they shove in such a thing?
Racists?
Microsoft?
WTF?
No need to post crap like this on Eurobricks.
Especially not when you type like you talk - I have no idea what the point is to this topic.
Do you want us to feel sorry for the guy, or are we to hate MS for a word filter?
Nevermind though, this is being closed for it's apparent uselessness as a topic.
Eventhough Darth Sion decided to edit whatever he said, I think it's time to agree.
Let's return this topic to it's intended purpose.
Discussing the 2011 sets and not wishfull thinking.
Hopes, wishes and stuff like that belongs in the "Future Star Wars sets"-topic.
This is strictly rumors and pictures of sets to come.
