Oh, but they do care. But we're AFOLs, we can easily whip up our own forums - kids can't. I assure you that LEGO is taking more and more interest in the AFOL communities each year. Why do you think they have people like Jan and Steve? "Community Managers" - does that sound like they don't care? Why would they visit AFOL planned Events and CON's if they didn't care about us? TLG has their own events (LEGOWorld) and if your claim is right, then that should be enough for them. If they didn't care about us, then why are they beginning to give us pics and press releases - 10212 UCS Lambda Shuttle and others (inferior to me since they're not SW ) If anything, I'd say your statement is "childish" and not really corresponding with the purpose of this topic nor EB.

Perhaps it's one of those "tumble-painted" parts like the new metallic silver helmets in the Kingdoms theme? They've done that for a while - the speckle-colours are also tumble-painted. Or perhaps they're kind of a transaction between Bionicle and Hero Factory. I doubt we've even come close to see what they have in mind with Hero Factory. Give it a year or so and you'll probalby experience that Hero Factory is nothing like Bionicle was. I guess it's all about not scaring away the customers and therefore Hero Factory resembles Bionicle a lot in the start-up phase. But hey, this is just me guessing

Yes. LED is considered customized products like custom figs and weapons. So they are allowed. Indeed there is. But a lot of people have invested in customized LED's and they're also allowed. Glad to see that TLG finally has made a version of their own
