  1. The walls appear a little barren, but otherwise, very nice!
  2. Nice build, even if it is for the wrong Lego collab castle build community thing, but even better photography. Well done.
  3. Very nice. I like that I can now tell what the white wyvern in the cart looks like with the additional shot of Ondylion here. For some reason, the first pic is missing- did you "replace it" in the photostream or something? I'll stick the one in I think you wanted...
  4. Why yes you are- and I have collaborators! Nocturnus... the most intriguing of lands!
  5. Very DC-esque with the sloped walls. Nice build.
  6. Handrid is one of four known living dragons to be trained by the Dragon Masters. He was sired from the male dragon Harbone and the female dragon Dravin, twin of Dronis. Handrid is the only known dragon to be bred in captivity. As such, Handrid was favored by the Dragon Master leader Zar Strongfist even though Handrid is small for a dragon of his species. When dragons are trained by the Dragon Masters, their front claws are bound together. After the training is complete, the chains are broken in the Freeing Ceremony. If the dragon attempts to flee it is killed, if it remains loyal, it is never to be chained together again, though the chains are left in place as a symbolic gesture of breaking the dragon. During the battle between the Zugal and the Dragon Masters, Handrid defended Dragon Keep honorably, though the keep was ultimately lost and Handrid fled into the Rakath mountains as the Dragon Masters escaped to find their kin. Anzar Strongfist, son of Zar, seeks to discover where Handrid has fled. **********About the MOC********** This is a slightly beefed up version from the Fracture Collab, thought the major elements remain the same. He is actually quite sturdy with the new Mixel/Legend Beast ball joints, at least after I did some reinforcement here and there. A few of these shots can only been seen here on EB and not in the Flickr photostream!
  7. Good work. I love the colors. Good photos too!
  8. The rock work is fabulous! I really like how the falls drop from one rock structure to the other. I also like the vegetation and the little pond. A few suggestions- maybe take some photos with the MOC rotated a little so it gives us some idea of the length and depth at the same time, so we know the build isn't flat! I also don't love the symmetry of the falling water, but I've never really mastered that technique so I don't have great advice there. Excellent MOC over all. Very cool.
  9. And this one is from another TwinLUG member.
  10. Soon we'll post the whole collab. There will be details then.
  11. Very nice.
  12. Lots of good details for sure. Some nice techniques and piece combos I'll have to use some day. The photography could use some work though. A couple of tips if I may 1) Use lots of natural light or diffuse indoor light using a light tent or household sheet. I usually shoot outside in the shade. Lots of natural light and no light tent needed, though you do need to battle the elements a lot. 2) If you are using natural/better lighting, you likely don't need the flash, or at least not a flash pointed right at the MOC. The flash creates glare and also seems to lose the natural colors of the MOC. 3) If you do ditch the flash, the photos often times come out blurry because you move the camera when you press the camera button and no flash means it takes light longer to get into the camera. I overcome this by setting the camera on timer so it takes the pictures 1 second after I press the button. This gives my hands a second to steady after I press the button!
  13. Looks awesome. Has a Legonardo vibe to it. I love the landscaping and color choices. Very nice.
  14. Awesome. I really like this. the color is great and the elevation changes are superb!
  15. The few, the proud, the Nocturnians! Now if only we could get our old juggernauts back in the action... LD, Taz, ISC... come home fellows, come home!
  16. I'll try to get a photo or two so you can see.
  17. ... to join Nocturnus and help us take over Historica? Yes?
  18. "Prilo senses the sarcasm in Rokkar’s voice. He looks nervously around the room and hears the soft clicking of the whispers of the Zugal host surrounding him. He had heard about Rokkar and Korrak, the wingless raven brothers with faces of birds and bodies of men; the brutal and fantastic duo that had trained and bred a whole host of raven warriors to capture this small piece of land from the Dragon Masters." If you liked Dragon Keep, the story continues with this insane MOC, The Zugal's Eyrie, by Guilds of Historica member Torgar.
  19. And boom goes the dynamite! The pictures are good, but this build is even better in person! If you haven't already guessed, this MOC "fits" with The Ruins and Dragon Keep. The whole collab will be posted later, but for now comment on this brilliant MOC!
  20. Only one tree is using... err... "alternate" bricks. They are the same LEGO shape, just in an unavailable color. I will forgive myself for that transgression... this time.
  21. Oh man, title grubber! I guess you'll have to wait until 5/31 to know for sure!
