  1. Errr.... what? I don't get this topic at all. Please expand or it will be closed...
  2. I've been told that this solution solved the issue! Thus I'll close this...
  3. I use Opera and I have no problem with Youtube. Please don't create topics with vague titles like "Please open and see if you can help". It's really annoying. I'm going to rename this...
  4. I've only go one of those... Me-thinks someone is making fun of me...
  5. I've got no idea sorry to say; I haven't even got any! But I'll move this to the customs forum where someone might have some experience in this. (I did a quick search but found nothing... )
  6. Well there are a lot of bounty hunters, and many have a back story. Dengar for example has strong links to Han Solo. Boba also has a history with Solo... I agree the Sith story has potential... but there's a lot that I don't like. The whole "There's never more that two" in particular.
  7. To me Star Wars needs to get past it's roots. Star Trek had a similar issue, and survived when they produced The Next Generation. I think the Skywalker story has been pushed too far, but I also think there are a lot of sub-stories that would be good to tell/re-tell. The question is; does the world want Star Wars without loads of Jedis? If the answer is no then I think Star Wars could fade away. I heard about the New Jedi Order rumor... but the story never interested me much. I've also heard about a possible Sith story/movie.
  8. Thanks! On topic, I'm glad that Boba Fett is planned to be a character. I doubt he will be major though. Ultimatly this is the series that will either end Star Wars or take it beyond the original Skywalker story. I'm really looking forward to it. I love the Clone Wars series (the only other TV show I watch is Code Geass) and I think it's rounded out the PT movies nicely.
  9. I can't say I find this respectfull; Honestly, that's just rude.
  10. I've been enjoying my classic yellow Ice Cube Tray for a while now, but I've been concerned what I would do if it broke. Could I keep living? Not prepared to take the risk, when S@H released a new Blue one (852660) recently I saw this as a good opportunity to buy a spare. At the same time the BELVILLE (851973) one was on a steep sale so I bought one of them too. As you can see they are much the same size. Since this is supposed to be a review, I should say that these are quite good to use. Since they are flexible you do need to be careful when putting them in a freezer, and for the same reason you do need to put them somewhere flat and firm. Removing the Ice isn't too hard due to the flexibility, but if you're a dolt like me and fill these up to the brim it can be a tad stressful. The BELVILLE one is really deep and gives a great shape to the ice. I was very impressed with the results. I've been waiting for a hot day to take these photos, and yesterday that day came. Enter the kiddies... I force my kids to use these LEGO sports bottles. They are rather worse for wear... but that's TLGs fault for making a container designed for drinks, and then using a good glue to put the label on! The girl (Myra) gets hearts and butterflies... ...and the boy (Max) gets just one heart and loads of bricks! These rules have been passed down to me for generations and I have no say in them. Myra samples... ...and she survives! Filled with BELVILLE magic! Max has a go... ...and it seems we have two satisfied customers! (Sorry for the photos; Max doesn't sit still...) Later that evening I have some in some "Kahlúa". Note the butterfly. You really can taste the BELVILLE magic! Overall thoughts Parts: Hard to MOC with. 1/10 Price: Cheap!. 10/10 Looks: Pink LEGO is always great! 10/10 Fudge: Instead of sucking LEGO and feeling silly, I can now do it guilt free! 10/10 Overall: Highly Recommended. 10/10
  11. I do a lot of MOC browsing. True I'm mostly looking to see if one of mine has been blogged, but I'm showing interest in others work at the same time.
  12. It was the winner of the LDraw Scene of the Month contest in January 2007.
  13. That image is by Jan Folkersma. He's Stinky on Brickshelf, and that render is here.
  14. In most cases it's all about money. Chances are that link installs a program that turns your computer into a spam-relay.
  15. I've mergerd the three topics on this same issue into one. Please don't create any more... This is not a local EB issue. Sad to say, this is an internet wide problem. Just the same, we do our best to combat it here. Something similar is being discussed. It may or may not happen. 10 posts seems more reasonable to me. On a similar issue, the PM system is either on or off. The setting we have is "Can use PM system"; there's no "Can PM only staff". Sorry, this can't be done. It may sound simple, but it's not. Please no more nagging on this issue. We're doing our best and while EB is not a democracy, we do try to discuss important changes with all the staff. Thus creating more topic won't make this happen any faster...
  16. It's the price of popularity...
  17. Do I win a prize?
  18. This used to be my favourite F1 car as a kid; I had a thing for 6 wheel cars... (The other 6 wheeled car that I used to love was the Panther 6.) It's a great job too! Is the photo lighting deliberate? It's an interesting effect...
  19. Just to be a general bitch, do remember that this is about Australian sales. Please don't turn this into a conversation about LEGO buying in general...
  20. Just to clarify, I personally have no intention of paying any attention to the result of this poll in regard to making any decision. Currently no-one has any PM restrictions. If this becomes a major problem then we might do something, but as Bob the Construction Man says, limiting PMs would be bad for the newbies. I've never been a fan of making everyone suffer just because we have a few trouble makers.
  21. What you want can't be done easily. People can either PM or they can't. We have considered creating a new structure of rank something like this... 0-9 Newbie No PMs, no posting in BSTF 10-99 Vassal BSTF is OK ...but it would have been a bit messy so it was decided to not do this unless the situation was dire. If you get any PMs like this in future tell a Moderator or Admin, and they will ban the member. That's what happened in this case.
  22. I missed this review when it was posted; I only discovered it when it was moved here. What a great idea this new structure is... Anyway, I love this set... but I'll have to just try to make something similar out of parts as the price to a bit much these days. I didn't know about the tires being bigger. Looking at the peeron pics... ...and my they are nice! Thanks for the great review!
  23. I only looked at this as I thought it was a spammer! Thanks for the pleasant surprise!
  24. Very cool! The "Snake Oil" salesman is probably my favourite western sub-genre. Your MOC give me flashbacks to "Say Say Say".... I don't think he did...
  25. All the prizes have been sent. I repeat, all the prizes have been sent!
