Thanks for the review. These sets were interesting in that they were designed to be very modular. I have a 90% complete 6933 Spectral Starguider that I was forced to make a new front pod for. I really should post it... I agree. Many don't like the click hinges but I prefer them. The old ones were too fragile and had very little resistance.

I loved all of these "walker" sets. It was such a smart technique. I made one myself with what I had ...ahhh good times! Thanks for the great review.

Stunning work! I do have one piece of advice though; you really should try to take your photos in front of a white background. If you did that I bet it would be blogged on Brothers Brick or similar. (All you need is a piece of cardboard. )

I second what The Kid said. I played the demo on the PS3 last night and I was impressed. The force is done really well and the graphics are just stunning. I think the apprentice looks better in Soul Calibur III though.

Errr...sorry. I can't believe it took me over a day to post in this topic. I love this set... but I still haven't got one. I tried to buy one on eBay a few months back but it just went too high. I also am a bit concerned that if I buy one on BrickLink it might be damaged or even lost. But I may just have to take that risk soon. My other option is to build something very similar from parts, and I close to being able to do that at the moment. (I need more springs and universal joints.) Back to the set, this is LEGOs finest hour and by a wide margin my favourite set. This is the pinnacle of system Technic, and it probably will never be matched. I still do hope that TLG will bring out a re-design using lift arms, but I suspect that the Ferrari license prevents them. The only feature this car is missing is a reverse gear, and I prefer the 4 wheel steering over that. Thanks for the great review.... and er... I voted "outstanding".

"bad quality pictures"? What's wrong with them? This is a great review and thanks! I was planning on buying this set and no others but the price stunned me. Thus I bought the AT-TE and the RGS.... The set is better than I thought though; I might do as Mutley did and make my own!
