  1. Great work. You've done a great job of matching the look. At a casual glance it seemed much smaller, and then I noticed the mini-fig! Is this all you are going to make? I want to see the whole thing! No, they are just for healing. I don't think they are named, the Spaarti cloning cylinders seem to refer to the work by Zahn only.
  2. Great MOC! Is this on a raised base or is it solid Lego? Like the others, I think the roof looks a bit odd. Maybe yellow would work better. The landcaping is great however, and I hope to do more of that myself in the future. I like the criss-crossed stair effect. I look forward to seeing the interior. My biggest grip is the placement of the wheel; I can't see it generating much power as it seems to be out of the flow... Are you sure about that? You forgot to mention that the waterwheel isn't your idea either! On that subject though, it is always very hard to be sure who was first with a particular part usage; I think I was first with the hovercraft-pieces-would make-a-good-tugboat idea, but I could be wrong. But it doesn't really matter as a good Lego MOC is more that the sum of it's parts.
  3. Who said I haven't already?
  4. EB: The place to go for the answers that really matter! I picked B; I think A looks un-natural.
  5. I missed this one... and sadly she didn't turn up to eat her cake either. Err.... Happy Birthday Izzy!
  6. 8159 Racer X and Taejo Togokahn and 8822 Gargoyle Bridge, the latter being under half price. ($15 AUD!) There was 8161 Grand Prix there as well, and I came close to buying it, but when I realised that it didn't have some of the new windscreens in it I went for a different Speed Racer set.
  7. Nice idea, but the system doesn't support that.
  8. I agree. Like Steampunk, I see Star Wars as fantasy. No, but the meaning was similar. I meant that they would be good ram-air cooling intakes. For example, like the ones on sports cars for cooling the brakes. Cooling is the official reason for the big intake on a B-Wing afterall so it is consistant.
  9. Very nice! I might have to start printing these. I showed my daughter them and she thought they were funny... (I say no to the belly button too.)
  10. Wow! They are all great! (I still feel sorry for those poor legless mini-figs though! ) That shanty is stunning too. (You love using that red crab! )
  11. Oh my! That Ra's Al Ghul is just perfect. Please don't make any major changes of that one. I can imagine David Warner talking by just looking at it. (I bought season 2 and 3 of BTAS only last month!) I would seriously consider buying him if you decided to sell. I'm not so sure on Gordon, but he is harder to do. I suppose the hair bothers me a bit as I see him as having a lot less due to age; you could try giving him an Indy hat. I agree with Batbrick that eyebrows could help.
  12. Spot on. I even contacted the University about it. Universities don't like their name being misused.
  13. At that speed and out of the airflow? Not really... but it's funny! EDIT: For example; Note that in addition to having large projecting fins, it also has rotatable engines that can be used to steer. But I wasn't aware that you were going for reality with this. Afterall, I wasn't with my Mobile Still. (No way could you make a tank that was self powered. It's pure fantasy! )
  14. I thought the same thing, but didn't say it as I don't think Steampunk should be held to the same standards. The simple fact is it is it is impossible to make a steam powered flying ship. Thus alternate realities or some sort of fantasical power source has to be assumed. As for counter spin your ship is safe as it has two rotors. One would spin clockwise, the other counter-clockwise, cancelling out the spin. No counter force is needed.
  15. I don't believe it. For one, there are no such students in their directory, two the usage of all upper case is odd, three "Incorperated" but most of all, their line of.. ...just reeks of a twitty teenager who has been caught out and is trying to have the last laugh. Since they claim that they will post results in a few days, posting most of their conclusions early makes no sense. While I'm pretty darn sure I am right, being wrong really worries me as if this really is some university students I fear for the future. Eitherway, they are a bunch of dolts.
  16. Looks much better... but... that un-secured door looks odd, if you have some I'd use the thicker tires, and that one odd wheel rim sticks out like a sore thumb. Other than that, great work.
  17. I am dying to know how these will work. I hope they don't force you to pick a polarity like Thomas the Tank trains... Well they have come and gone several times for Australians.
  18. I think I could be the only one who sees that set and drools! It's near the top of my current want list...
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks! Have fun...
  20. I wouldn't have been so brutal, but I feel the same way! Great work, when posed he has real character.... but I liked the old head better.
  21. Welcome to EB... but we want details!
  22. I think it's OK...
  23. The first one is text only...
  24. I hope it doesn't expect a cake... (Yes, I'm recycling jokes! )
  25. I realise that the Tugboat is more a city MOC that fits a walrus, but does my Shouse count?
