  1. Happy birthday! *sweet* I wonder if he'll have the courage to post here though! :-D
  2. We have a winner! *sweet* The final scores are in; with 40% of the vote it's Hinckley with "Reclining Devastator". X-D He also wins the people's favourite! Congrats! As for the semi-secret but super-cool surprise.... we have pictures of the real set! About a day after the poll started Toa_Of_Justice told me that he discovered the instructions here. He was kind enough to keep it quiet for the rest of the week... and I must admit I am curious how he found it. Hopefully he will explain all now. Now that we know what it looks like, which one do we think is the closest? :-D I think imperialshadows MOC is... Thanks for entering everyone! This was a very interesting competition. *sweet*
  3. 12 pm is 1200. Remember that "PM" means "post meridiem", which is Latin for after- noon. 12 am is 0000. Remember that "AM" means "ante meridiem", which is Latin for before-noon. There is no 2400. The time goes from 2359->0000->0001. But confusion in this topic is common. Most militaries forbid the use of scheduling at 0000 because it is confusing as to what day it is. X-D Thus the times are Feb 20 1211 and Feb 21 1415, which makes about 26 hours difference. Are we cool now?Eitherway, I will post the results soon.
  4. Hey! Speak for yourself! |-/
  5. That's what I was hoping. *sweet* I can't wait to see the rest of the pics. Are these sets more like Market Street (in that almost every thing is used) or the Train Factory set (in that none of the MOCs use most of the parts)?
  6. Assuming a stong enough cable, I think so. What would you use? The basic parts look very stong and well designed. *wub* It's a shame it woud cost something astronomical to make... :'-( (Any idea of how much at this stage?)
  7. Great idea *yoda* ! *sweet* I voted for the new ones. Afterall, you can't see though the "real" visors and it's about time these poor clones had faces! :-P
  8. Last day for votes guys! 8-
  9. ... another illusion shattered. :'-( Thanks Yoda! X-D
  10. Happy birthday! *sweet* May all your Lego (or Disney ;-) ) dreams come true! :-D
  11. Here is what I consider the best summary on Vig sizes. (Some of the pictures are dead now though... :'-( )
  12. Friendly reminder; while we don't have a firm rule on reviving six month old topics, you really should only do so if you have something to add or ask. Mentioning that you are Canadian doesn't seem to cut it. Besides this was a of-the-moment thing... and that moment is long passed. ;-)
  13. Perhaps, but I just did a search and I found this and the EB User Groups topics. You have to realise that search engines typically prioritise larger and more recently active topics. I agree.
  14. I came here to post this "news'.... :-$ Darn timezones. Eitherway, this is great news. If they are half as good as the train sets, I'll be buying! *wub*
  15. I think a re-name would be a good idea. Jipay does refer to here in the EB User Groups topic afterall so calling one "User Groups" and the other "Ranks" could be a bit confusing. 8-|
  16. That's very kind of you. :'-( By the way, vigs don't have to be on a 8x8 plate.
  17. I heavily recommend that you either remove that picture or edit out your EMail address.... ;-)
  18. They look bigger, but they still seem small. Looking at my favourite boobies, I agree with Shadows and think they need more shadows and clearer hips. Ahhhh... good times! X-D
  19. It's an insect, not a bug. Remember, I do sell software; "Sinner" and "bug" are not words I like used together... X-D
  20. Siegfried

    VBBN.COM???

These days I use that one more. Sinner is about my past and I am not really a living in the past type of person. Beats me why I used it so long... *wacko* That's your vanity speaking! :-D On a similar note, ever since I started using a walrus as a sigfig they have become rarer on BrickLink! X-D
  21. Siegfried

    VBBN.COM???

I don't mind people like that. At least he is using the name for something. When I was looking for a new website name many were just owned by squatters. :-/
  22. Siegfried

    VBBN.COM???

I used to have the number one spot for "Sinner" but since there is now a movie and a band it's hard to compete. :'-( I'm on page two these days, but it doesn't bother me much anymore as I have grown a bit tired of the name... :-/ Oh. I thought it was just that you weren't telling something. X-D
  23. Thanks for the great review Dr. S. *sweet* The ship is very nice... and I love that new brown. *wub* Stunning spare sail too! Am I right to think that the armour is part of the dragons head? Due to room reasons I wasn't for this set, but I'm not so sure now. Thanks Dr. S. 8-|
  24. Australia: K-mart are advertising that they have the first wave of Indy sets in stock this week.... and at a 15% sale! *sweet*
