Afte the part is sanded down I use Testor's Acylic, then gloss/seal it afterwards. I might put like a slash mark down the Mask as well. And I'll grab Gresh's orange head for the eye color.

Mods are going to look good Bfa. I especially like the ankle guards. Only problem is trying to get those bits in the correct colors. Might pick up Mata Nui this weekend from target, I want to make a Dark Mirror universe alternate of him in black and silver. (shouldn't be too hard, the yellow can be easily pianted black, and he has many common parts that can be replaced with Black ones)

There are 3 main courses which teach you how to set up, take pictures, and wirite a review, and then you prove yourself in your first review. Comments are given, and once you have passed, you complete another review, this one better than the first, and after that do your 3rd which graduates you from the Academy. After that you have 6 more reviews you can complete to get you to the Gold tag and become a teacher. Each review improves ont he last, and the 9th review is top notch. No time limits are put on you during any of these courses.

I haven't really seen to many threads for SW there, and even then, this is mainly the LEGO Star Wars forum, not really aimed at anything else. (Wait, this is ask the moderators thread...I'm not a moderator. >_< I'll leave now. :tounge: )

I believe he means a section relating to the Star Wars Movie and Cone wars, mainly anything TV or Game related. In which case that would go to the Cultrue and multimedia forum. ;]

And it was Lego's fault for not making sets to please the fans. For instance, if the Bat-tank with the riddler hideout had been like the preliminary images, I would have bought it. But they skimped out and gave us a poor excuse for a "hideout", meerly a plastic gate and spotlight. $50 savings right there. I'm not saying the sets were bad, I had grabbed a couple of them, Mainly the Harley Quinn Hammer Truck and the Two Face Escape, and the Batcave to name a few. ;]

Yes, I would be biased on that, Being an Academy teacher here I feel these reviews are better. But, keeping on topic, True, but my opinions are that they are overdueing the packaging. It's not underdoing. And quite frankly I would rather they overdue the packaging that underdue and have problems such as missing bags, etc.(Though that doesn't stop instructions from being bent in TRU boxes!) But if it were a bit smaller to fit the amount of bags, I would certainly have no problem with that.

Ah okay, that makes more sense. Wow, this review of Cendox on BZP is driving me crazy. Ranbow colorscheme? Take a look at Titan Mata Nui, dude. X] And having to click every thumbnail is REALLY annoying, I miss the old days of BZP reviews(2006!).... I do have a question, why do you guys have a problem with the larger boxes for sets? If you are buying them online then I can understnd(expensive shipping), but if from a store, why? -VBBN

Yes it is. Look at the pictures. One has Bara Magna as the backround, and the other has the skrall shield design. ;]

Can't say I like the new box varient for Skirmy and Fero-cious. It doesn't have the desert vibe like the original. Glad to see we are getting varients though, I like varients.

It's your brickfilm, you do what you want. If other's don't like what you use in your film, then they can make their own brickfilm and leave yours alone. Just get a good crafting skill down with clay.

A flame war closes topics just as easily. ;] You know, Skopio brings a good element into Bionicle-transformations. If they can make a good transforming bionicle year, I would like. But I'm sure lots of people would also hate it... But think about it. With Baramagna we get lots of elemental things, imagine a fire falcon turning into a fire Glatorian? Somehow that would rock. Or a water serpant turning into a Tajun warrior.

Aaaaand that's where we will stop. It's these conversations that closed the old 2009 topic, and we won't have another one if this one closes, or even futher action could be taken. If you don't want to hear peoples complaints about sets, don't read them. People are free to explain their thoughts on things, for it's the criticism that helps lego improve on their mistakes. And, "big or small, it's a hole?" It maybe so, but in terms of a set, that makes a difference. A small hole like on Mata Nui's toso can be fixed with a simple pin. Something like Kaxium that requires major modifications isn't a good thing, nor tolerable. I wouldn't like to pay a set that is $30 only to get something poorly made, would you? Regards, -VBBN
