  1. Thanks so much for this wonderful review, Brickster! Wow, what a great set. Everything bout it is wonderul. The Boat is nice, but probably the weakest part of the set. I like the floater design of it quite a bit. I feel sorry for the minifig who has to use the paddle to row it though. The car is my absolute favorite part of this set. It is small, detailed, and sets the theme quite well. It suites a swamp-outback jeep very well. Planes are always welcome, and this one is great. The design of the dual bars to connect to the tail makes it very unique, and is my favorite part of this set. And who can't love the little landing station? A great review of a great set.
  2. Sorry for the confusion guys, these weren't the sets that I purchased. I thought they were when I found them on Brickset, but als they aren't. The sets that I am thinking about are Knights Kingdom sets that were on clearence. Feel free to close this topic, unless you want to leave it open for discussion of these two sets. Sorry once again, `La Empray VBBN
  3. Welcome to Euorbricks. I hope you fufill all of your lego needs here. Regards, `La Empray VBBN

  5. I'll scrounge up some pics soon- I'm pretty sure these were the sets haha
  6. A few months ago, I purchased these sets for $7.99 each at TRU: But looking on Brickset only a total of 5 people own these sets. So were they rare or not released in some places? Thanks, VBBN
  7. Ah, 2008: Exo-Force: Horrid. Terrible story, with absolutly the worst ending(oh wait, their was none) The sets were okay but the quality of the ball joints was unacceptable. City: The Janurary sets were play, and only a few Coast Guard sets impressed me. CG was an interesting theme, but I would like to see something less junorized. But, look at how many times fire and police have been revived, and they get better each time. Perhaps the same will happen with CG. Bionicle: Other than a few sets, nothing was really outstanding. Star Wars: No way would I buy these on my own, as they are way overpriced. Luckily I recieved a few of them as presents, and I enjoyed them quite a bit. I am not very fond of the new Droid color scheme. Iniana Jones, Spongebob, Batman: Batman was amazing. Besides the freeze thing, all of the sets were amazing. Great. Outstanding. But spongebob? Crap. Why the megablox did they renew it in 09? Indy was okay, but I really only liked one set, the Treasure chase. Agents: The Truck is awesome, but nothing spectacular about the other sets. Edit: Forgot, the Volcanoe Base is great, but I feel the lack of interior is a little saddening... Castle: Pure awesomeness. Creator: The car was nice... Speed Racer: So yeah, a little critical, but I am picky.
  8. I probably won't be lucky enough to find one, as I could never seem to get one of those C3POs.

  12. Err.... Which part of Michigan do you live in? I have no troubles finding Lego. Especialy in Target, Meijer, and TRU. And never have I seen Jungle Duel for $17. Regards, `La Empray VBBN
  13. Unfortunatly, due to the stock market, my parents won't be going to France. Instead they will be going to Cancun. I'll see if I can change their minds, but at the moment, it looks as if I'm off the list.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks. Regards, `La Empray VBBN

  18. Little question, what if you are picked for the fighter but you don't want it? (but you still want a prize) Are you stuck with it or can it be substituted? If I were picked for it and it was either take it or leave it, I'd take it, though. Eedit: Would that fit under one of those handy rules on the irst post you have their? Aw, so much for a Brickbeard's Bountry for the 25th! `La Empray VBBN
  19. Please remeber that you cannot post reviews outside of the RA before they are graded. ;) Thanks, VBBN
  20. Many congrats to everyone who has one so far! Wow, just noticed that only people who entered in te mystery raffle are eligible-- Good thing I entered!
  21. Woah mama! I thought that was going to be a $10 set! I think my wallet is running away... Nice find.
  22. I chose other, because I love all of these things, esp. building contests.
  23. Well, I would consider this a digger, as this is a tractor: Great review, and a great little set as well.
  24. And thusly the room will become larger? I can't imagine slime face fitting in their at the moment. ;) Add a few studs too it and certainly I can see it.
  25. Mm, a very nice Moc I think! I especially like how the henchmen are given genaric chairs whereas Inferno and Clawdy are given more unique chairs. Indfernos throne is form Voclano Base, yes? Nice use of minifig hands on Clawdy's chair. And I also like how you left Spy Clops Gripping to the barings-- Very inventive! -VBBN
