having all of the sets in hand I definitly think Scorpio is the weakest- though his function is cool, his lack of any pose ability in the legs combined with the fact that the tail doesn't look all too great... To be fair I think LoSS is the worst set of the year, I prefer Scorpio over him, but I definitely enjoy all of the other scull villains immensely more. And for those who follow my Flickr know my reviews are coming in a few hours so I'll leave it at that and share my thoughts then.

Not thrilled about the exclusive mask, I don't really like using much trans parts in MOCs so I don't really feel like I'd get much mileage out of it. Doesn't help that my least favorite trans color is trans neon green. I felt the same way with the clear Hau, as cool as it is, I'd totally have taken a different solid color or even a red/green or gray/brown mixed one any day of the week.

Ah yes, proudly displaying the Hero Factory company logo on his crotch I have always loved bright yellow and lime as a color scheme, and you've done a good job of balancing it out here (I never realized how well that breastplate would work with this color scheme.) And I like the take on a gearbox, the shoulder armor looks nice as a result. Also finally someone uses those swords I will agree though, I'm not a fan of where the tubes are currently placed

I mean, I am okay with names being "Inferno" instead of "Tarrahk" or something. Although I will say I strongly dislike the protectors having no indicating name at all. Obviously the Toa have names and the villains you can shorten to Grinder, Scorpio etc, but when it comes to media, is Tahu going to say, 'Hey, Protector of Fire, get over here!" That's quite a mouthful, and in some cases acronyms aren't always the best idea (PoS, for example...) Sure they could refer to him as just a Protector, but that seems a bit silly to me.

I do not wish to initiate a discussion on this matter but rather to add some clarity, each subforum has to deal with it's themes and sets in a way that makes the most sense. The size of each community, amount of toylines, complexity of the theme, etc are just some of the factors that come into play, and we are consistently changing how our forums handle these themes as the community expands or contracts. It's hard to please everyone when every theme carries with it multiple different types of audiences.
