Looks nice! Now that I tink about it, what color eyes does Mata Nui have? I know they turned red after Makuta took over his form, but I think they were green before that. Nice use of exo force joints. Looking forwad to seeing what this looks like when it's done, I've been considering doing something similar to this for a while.

Has anyone ever heard of Flyleaf? You might recognize them from Live Free Die Hard, but I knew them before that. I have Away from the sun, many of the songs like Kryptonite and Here without you are reamakes of older songs, but I love the band quite a bit. Changes is m favortie song. It's one of the few bands I like that isn't screamo or metal.

Hm, I'm not 100% on this MOC. And since it's your second MOC on EB, I would assume you are open for C&C, Firstly, I am going to give constructive critiscm, but I want to get one thing out of the way first. The concept. I honestly don't think that 2 Hahlis with some spare parts thrown in makes a very appealing MOC. Granted, you might have a smaller parts selection, and you went for a new idea, but if you were a lego designer, are you happy with this? Color scheme wise, I'll be forgiven, like I said, you may be limited, The turret gun is a little odd, maybe if it wasn't connected to the figures hand? Next, the legs are a bit awkward. Actually, the whole thing you have going on is a bit odd. This Kind of has a Gadunka appearence, you know? Wide and short, but it seems...empty, and there really is no purpose to the bits connecthing his legs and arms. Now the one thing that restricts you with this moc, I think, is the two piraka torsos being used. Putting the two like you have results in a very wide torso, but also a very emty one. The way I avoid this is building somehing like a loincloth to finish the lower bottom part, and also have long legs. It suits this design slightly better. -VBBN

Personally I'm no fan of the eyes for Gali, but in spirit of the meaning of this MOC, they are fine. But I must say, I love the torso design. Sure beats Kiina. Then again, Jinzo has always been with me on the Femenine Bionicle thing...

Would you consider me an "important member?" If so, I'll see what I can do. Getting a second pair of white epaulettes might be a challenge.

And do remember that post count isn't the whole part of it. Someone could easily make 5000 posts if they were short and sweet, but that's not the key to becoming a staff member. You must have some meaning and thought in your posts, because many fellows and staff on this site are still under that 5000 post count. I myself am coming close to the 3000 post count, so past the halfway mark, and in my time here I've been though many things. Do I expect to be a staff or fellow by the time I reach 5000 posts? Who knows. That is totally out of my judgement to say. It all depends on if the other staff and fellows see strengths in me and think I am worthy of a higher spot. Needless to say, becoming staff is a great thing, but in time I don't want dissapointment or anything like that, so I don't keep hopes up. I'm perfectly fine being a Duke and Academy Teacher at the moment, and if the gift of Fellowship or Staff(staffship?) comes in the future, I will, yes, be honored, but like I said, I will not count on it. Dang. I just wrote my friggin life story there...

Thanks guys! I have a lot of birthday topics to respond to, so just I'll just post the same message around... Anywho, I am having a good birthday for the most part. Why for the most part? Read on. To start, I did get some great girfts, like Revenge of the fallen Leader Prime and Megatron, the Star Wars Animated Clone Wars movie, some CDs, new earphones for my ipod touch, and a year subscription to XBOX Live, as mine expired. But, Michigan laws state that school starts the day after labor day. Do you all rememeber what yesterday was? Indeed, today was back to high school. Happy birthday to the others! Just you wait. I have 3 new reviews planned to be done before September's end. Not for me, I didn't ask for any. I may be in a dark age of not buying any lego, but I will still review and chat about it, and help out as much as I can to Eurobricks. ;]

Really? How was that possible? I saw it right before I headed out, I was sent an email with a portion of it from a book writer(Sonya V, she also is publishing a picture of my dog in her new book called "I has a Hotdog," from the website), with about 20 past the scene where Mata Nui formulized, some parts might have been skipped, I'm not sure, but I might be getting the other parts soon.

It's not just about if your camera is good enough, but it's also about your studio and writing structure, but you will find more on that in the pinned topics. ;]

The Mahri never did have the best quality plastic...(Nuparu and Hahli's joints, Kongu's thin plastic, etc.) Axxon looks great in that pic though. I just wish his mask hadn't been so overused in the playsets. I have about 10 of them now. It's a neat mask and all, but still. And the lighting on Hahli's mask makes it an awesome shade of blue. Too bad it doesn't look like that in normal light...

I'm just getting a Ford Mustang GT and Macy's ad now. Maybe this is the new "What banner ads do YOU see?" topic... xD

Trailer looked awesome, at any cost it is good to see they are going to have a flashback. Sorry, I'm late to the conversation. Look at what a week out of Eurobricks will do to you... (I had no internet when I went to my grandma's)

I mean the look-alikes from future years, like Barraki, Mahri, Phantoka, etc. After the same pieces are used over 50-100 times(excluding the pins and such), it's time to think of something new. I have my hopes up for 2010, but if the Inika style is heavily into the sets like previous years, count me out. But because the Inika and Piraka are the originals, they showed the best use of the mold and have the "classic" feel to them.

The start of a great creation, it has the mechanism down, now all you need to fix is the deisgn. Great start.

Well, I am one of the few people who loved The Inika and Piraka, and always will(but I dislike the clones of them in later years, excluding 2009) Great pics as always.
