  1. After helping Charlemagne through the desert, Cyprian traveled to the northern territory of the High Council. He had been tasked with poisoning the wells in that area with a poison that had been procured from Nocturnus. It was designed by a master poisoner to be able to contaminate a well for months on end with but a few drops.
  2. Thank you all for your kind comments! Josh's story is far from over, I assure you! I'm really glad everyone recognized the torture table and that you all like the horse carriage pieces! I dislike those pieces because of their seeming lack of usability, but obviously there are ways around that As for the torture machine. I left the exposed studs on purpose because I felt that it gave the machine a better feel than tiling the whole thing. I wish I could have made it look smoother, but adding reverse tiles to the back or snoting would make it too think, IMO. But, to each his own.
  3. I think that limiting the GAs to 1 every 2 weeks will solve the GA problem. But I would still allow 1 counter a week, that should keep Ulandus happy I also think the intense pace will let up a little bit as we all take turns taking deep breaths after the building frenzy.
  4. Well countered Sir! And from the other side of the family too!
  5. Love those bone letters and the use of the Boba torso for the Croc!
  6. Thank you Ska. I think this is what we all want in the end. To any who are a little disgruntled against the DK team right now. Please know that we are following a strategy we think will help us win. That being said, we are not out to cause strife or division here in GoH. We are all here to have fun. So please know that our builds are meant to be part of the fun and are not meant to hurt anyone. I also want it known that we are not a Ulandus hating team It has just been part of the strategy so far. If this were Avalonia I would suggest we all go hug some trees right now. Since it's Kaliphlin, I'll suggest instead that we all go find a mummy to rub our shoulders
  7. See the rest of the story: Season 1 Season 2 Junker's Fee Welcome to Fondor Fondor City Nightlife Many Bothans Died... Well At Least One Fixing to Clear the Mind Thermal Detonator Pot-Pie Focus I didn’t get much time to think about anything before I was dragged out of my cell and pushed along a corridor to a room with a table in the middle of it. Next to the table was Commander Relve and a medical droid. The stormtrooper strapped me into the device and raised it so that I was a foot away from the metal tubing, but slowly dropping closer to it. Where the Empire had come up with such a torture device, I’m not sure. But it is quiet effective. The metal glowed like it was super-heated, but it was actually room temperature. When your body came in contact with it though, it triggered the pain centers of the brain to make you think you were being burned. “Your trial will now begin Josh” explained Commander Relve. “Answer my questions and we will keep you upright. Fail to answer them, or answer them in any way that is not to my liking, and your pain will begin. This medical droid has been programmed to keep you alive, nothing more. Your screams will not elicit help from him.” “Some trial this is” I answered. “No defense. No jury. Just a guilty verdict slapped on me and then carted off to the torture chamber is it?” “Snide remarks will only increase your agony” replied Relve as he motioned to the droid who started the table in motion. I tried not to scream. Emphasis on the word try. How could I ever have thought the Empire could have any good in it? “You will now tell me about the rebel’s plans regarding the pod-race on Tatooine” demanded Relve. “What pod-race?” I asked. “I’ve been off the grid for months now. I know nothing of the Alliance’s plans.” The pain only continued.
  8. I appreciate you putting all this up here, but I think we need to figure out how to proceed. We can't just postpone all those builds. That's not fair to all the builders who only get to post one GA a week.
  9. Yes, I supposed I was counting on people recognizing my figs by now. The HC figs are the ones with the Persian helmets. Rainwater? It doesn't rain in Kaliphlin
  10. Nice little tree and great counter!
  11. I most certainly had you in mind as I built this!
  12. Back when the Queen of Kaliphlin first entered Queenscross the inhabitants had built many celebration arches for the Queen to walk through, showing their support for her. Many of these arches can still be found in Queenscross today. It was at one of these that the men of Budd-apest found themselves battling against the High Council soldiers. The decorative flagstones that had once been carpeted with red flowers when the Queen passed over them now were carpeted with the red blood of the High Council's best soldiers. OoC: The arch is attacked to the base. That was the hardest part of this build.
  13. Charlemagne was on a mission for the Desert King that had led into the Dune Sea. He had hired a guide to help him survive the harsh climate. They traveled early in the morning and late in the evening, setting up a canopy in the afternoon to shield them from the beating sun. The guide had warned Charlemagne that there were all many of nasty creatures in the Dune Sea, though he wasn't sure how they managed to survive. All of a sudden a ROUS (Rodent of Unusual Size) had come galloping over a sand dune at them. It had obviously smelled them and thought it had found a quick dinner. The ROUS quickly found out that it had met it's end instead of it's meal. OoC: This is a very unconventional base, I know. I have a limited number of tan base-plates and I didn't want to stoop to using dark tan for this desert. So this is what we got
  14. A GA for the Desert King against Ulandus at K13!
  15. Captain Uriako had just survived one of the worst voyages of his life. He had been smuggling supplies to the Desert King troops within Ulandus territory for weeks now and had quickly learned how to navigate the Serpent's Crawl. This time through though he had had to navigate those treacherous rocks with only half his crew. The other half had come down sick with the plague. It wasn't until the first few crew members had fallen ill that the captain had discovered the rats on board his vessel. He finally made it into port and sold his cargo to a rich Ulandian. Rather than warn the Ulandian buyer of the plague infested rats, he purposefully kept quiet knowing that the rats would soon spread their disease throughout the city. Captain Uriako knew that this would be far more effective in hurting Ulandus than his supplies would have been to the Desert King troops. Now, the captain was off to a healer to try to get his crew back on their feet. OoC: If you counter this, please leave the captain alive. I need him for future builds and it would be awkward to have to bring him back to life first
  16. Beautiful counter!
  17. Well countered! Though, do you have a vendetta against me or something?
  18. Great use of the Zelda sword for the lance and Aquanauts piece for the snout!
