  1. Obviously my Sith abilities have clouded some of my better qualities, such as proof reading As for chocking yourself, don't deprive me of the joy of doing it myself! Now get back here and let me raising off the floor a few inches... That contest was before my time, it's a good thing there's not a rule about re-hashing contests You most certainly can enter!
  2. As long as the "clothes" match the existing TLG patterns. So you could make your own pauldron or kama, but not a trench-coat. I hope that makes sense. Well, this contest does go for an extra month beyond the battlepack contest so you would have extra time if you wanted to do both.
  3. I appreciate your interest in the contest and in the Dark Empire comics. The reason they are not being allowed is because they are comics and not books. While they are an integral part of the SWEU canon, there is plenty of source material in the books to draw from without needing to delve into other mediums. I hope that clears that up for you.
  4. I think you mis-posted.
  5. No, uploading it to flickr before entering it in the contest is allowed. The "anywhere" in this rule should be interpreted as "any Lego MOC promoting site." So you can't post it as a MOC here on Eurobricks or have it as a Lego Ideas entry before entering it into this contest. But having it on flickr is fine.
  6. Please support me on Lego Ideas! Based on the super popular How It Should Have Ended videos, The Super Hero Cafe is the perfect place for super heroes to grab a cup of coffee and talk about their latest movies. Batman and Superman seem to be permanent fixtures at the cafe, but there is an extra set for a guest super hero. Today Nick Fury has dropped by to explain his obsession with fire extinguishers. I have lots of Super Hero minifigs, but this is one of the first MOCs I've done with them. I hope you like it.
  7. Incredible work! This reminds me of my favorite TCW episode.
  8. Very cool looking pod and nice story!
  9. I'm gonna build like crazy!

  10. This is a great start! Can't wait to see the finished product!
  11. Very good work! It's a great counterpart to your Clone battlepack and your choice of figs is wonderful!
  12. Very nicely done! I like how it is obviously a battlepack, but don't be afraid to use creativity too!
  13. Thank you for your entry, but please know that it will not count unless you have an actual picture file rendered. Good luck!
  14. Yes, only stuff from the EU books listed in the approved list.
  15. I really like the play feature! Your figs aren't bad, but it is a little odd to see the Red Skull as an Imperial Officer I do think your hologram "stand"(?) could use some improvement and just an FYI, there is no such thing as a hologram transmitter in SW
  16. I've given this a lot of thought and here's what I decided. First, you have a very good point about the piece count for the brick built figs in battle packs. I have updated the rules to say that brick built figs should not have more than 30 pieces as it seems a droideka has about 28. If you want to include a brick built droid that is part of the build and not part of the 4 figs, you are allowed to do so, but that doesn't really follow the standard TLG format for battlepacks so keep in mind that it would be judged accordingly. It also wouldn't be allowed if you had 4 clones and 1 droideka and tried to count the droideka as part of the main build. The idea behind those standards is not to have black and white rules, but more to help keep people from building way outside the battlepack frame work. If you have specific examples, it might be best to PM me so I can tell you exactly what would be allowed within this gray area. As for changing the color of a piece, no, I'm afraid that will not be allowed. I know TLG does it for their new sets, but I think we have enough pieces in enough colors and you can use your creativity to come up with a good solution I've updated the rules on the piece count. I said 100 pieces because it is supposed to be a battlepack so more than 100 is really pushing it. However, if you have an awesome idea and it it 110 pieces, you're not going to be disqualified. You're also not required to post how many pieces your entry has, but if it looks like more than 100 I may ask you exactly how many you've used. So to answer your first question, no, you can't add 10 pieces to your count because all figs should technically be part of the 4. But, you can feel pretty safe in going 10 pieces over First, welcome to Eurobricks! As for your question, you allowed to post it on Flickr or another picture hosting site before the contest, it just should already be posted here on EB or another site as an existing post. So yes, you can post it on your Flickr now and still enter the contest As for the characters and scenes, it can be from anywhere within the Star Wars universe!
  17. I'm honored to have my post bumped, but I think you meant to post this elsewhere...
  18. So, for Cat. B, can I include my Cat. A entry even if only for story purposes?
  19. The World Devastators are mentioned in many of the approved books so I say they would be allowed. Yay, can you believe it?
  20. That's great, thanks!
  21. Can someone who is not a mod check it again please?
  22. I purposely did not include the comics because I wanted the focus to be on the books of the EU. I know many of the EU books reference want happens during the Dark Empire comics, so you could maybe do a flash-back scene to an event from the comics, but only if it's referred to in the books. This contest is only about what happens after the movies, so no. But seeing as SoNE is all about Shadows of the Empire, I think you have plenty of opportunites to build from that book Sorry! No video games. And besides, your Crimson Pilgrim wouldn't be a new build and you know it
